TBH I hadn't planned to do another. Lets see how this one goes for now and I'll decide after that.

Another update -

Some good news and some not quite so good.

The Bluetooths are all paid for this end and assuming that the money reaches him in time they will be despatched on Monday. With this cconsignment will be the MK1 MaxiDot for Jonathan.

The guy who supplies our man with Maxidots has taken the liberty of going on holiday which, all things considered, is a damned inconvenience to say the least.

I will keep you all abreast of the situation as and when I know more.

Given the delay and the fact that the shipment has had to be split into two there 'may' be an opportunity to extend the order. That being the case if you would ike to be included please start a reserve list below. Please bear in mind that if you add your name to the list, and I am able to increase the numbers, I may (and probably will) want payment at pretty short notice so please keep in touch. PM me an email addy or mobile number if you prefer.

Looks like it might do Eddy. I couldn't 100% be sure though so it would be at your own risk.

The A3 does have a bluetooth option but the bracket is different, it is available seperately though. 8P0 035 619

Wiring is simple enough as it connects to the infotainment CANBUS. I would imagine that to be the same.

Not got an A3 yet but may have very soon, I'll check out the bluetooth part no's on one of the audi forums.

Any ideas whether this kit would be compatible with a 2008MY Touran? I'm likely to be changing the OCty early next year for a slightly larger car and this is my car of choice, if not I might install this in the Octy anyway !!

If this all goes according to plan I'd imagine there will be a fair amount of interest from other people at a later date.

I'd certainly be very interested in a Bluetooth and Maxidot purchase in a month or two's time if you would be prepared to run this again.

Yes there is but not from me I'm afraid.

Any news on when the other parcel will be sent with the dashpods.

Just for info really but some of the extra wires and housings in Stu's guide are on back order as I found out today when I stopped off to pick them up. :(

I would say if you intend to use the connectors that Ian mentions above then I would get them ordered sooner rather than later.

Do you have a guesstimate for arrival of the units Stu.

if those connections are on backorder with skoda is it worth checking at an audi/vw dealer or are they on the same stock system?
