Featured Replies

I've just had a PM from Awesome Sarah and she hopes to be able to take 6 of the new pipes to TRAX on 02/09/07 to show us. Hope that means to sell aswell coz it would be cool to fit one there for the drive home!:thumbup:

If their are a few about I would like to order a bigger intake please

We will see how many we can get there for you

Sarah

Any idea on prices yet as I may be interested even though I've got a PD160 intake unless there's no benefit over what I've got.

Thanks

Hi Guys

Now if I have done it correctly , a few pics for you

Here goes......

Am I right in thinking this would be better than the PD160 air intake due to the larger diameter pipe allowing greater air flow? Also is the opening at the front end larger too as the PD160 trumpet still doesn't seem that large but obviously better than standard? Oh and have prices been decided yet?

Thanks

Some more pics would be great - that said that pipe looks smaller to me than the PD160 intake ?

I thought it was larger as the PD160 one is more of a rounded rectangle where this is round so should have a larger diameter. Anyway if you've got any pics of it off aswell it'd be good.

Fits a little better than the Seat part though.

Hi

It is bigger than the Seat one

Fits better though too

Have a couple more pics at work will put them up tommorrow

Hey dedication for yoy , am at home now :D

Sarah

My Seat part fits fine I just used a large cable tie so the pipe sits tight around the snorkel.

Suppose I'd have to see it 'in the flesh'.

Mine is the PD160 plus a heat shield (I know, won't do a lot if anything) + the cable tie thing too.

It is tight, but definitely interested to see it :)

Picture links were missing the opening square bracket but I've fixed that in the quote. Have prices been confirmed yet and what's the availability like?

Sarah showed me her intake pipe at the TRAX meeting and it looks even better in the flesh . The end products should be ready at the end of the month. I tried pushing for a rough price but all they could say was it will be much cheaper than the seat one and it will have an extra 20mm internal diameter. Should perform quite well.
