By the way Will, It's called "Doksy" meet, as that's the village it's near. :D Dorsky does sound kinda cool though. :o

No point packing the shorts looks like its going to be cold :orb_cold: :orb_sad:

I've only just got round to reading this thread. A few questions:-

Does anyone bother with green cards anymore? I've got European cover as standard but don't know if I need the bit of paper.

What do you need to adjust headlights?

I didn't realise you get breakdown cover automatically, i've been paying for mine separately ever year

I've got 22,500 CZK. Too much  :P

You get a EHIC - google for it if you've not got one (Euro Health Insurance Card)

Headlights have covers you can get. Or do what I did last year and use duck tape. ;)

22500CZK is a LOT of money. :D You will be bringing most of it home unless you make some interesting purchases. ;)

Chris?! THe long term forecast I've seen has the Monday (2 days before we arrive as 21 degC and sunny) I have a feeling in my waters that it will be nice weather. [bon Jovi] Everybody, keep the faith! [/bon Jovi]

Last night my amended insurance certificate arrived, so have stashed it in the car. ALso have stashed away all the other car paperwork - V5, MOT, etc. It's well hidden in case someone nabs the motor while I'm not anywhere near it though. :D I just wanted to ensure everything is in it well in advance so I have less to think about this weekend..

[brainwave] Mustn't forget the 2

I just cant decide how much I'll need

Got mine from Travelex off the internet at 39 to the pound, they do a thing where for about 4 quid they'll buy back any currency you have left at the same rate they sold it to you for.

Only downside is I had to go to Birmingham airport to collect, they seem to only list airports on their site . Oh, and watch out for bank charges, my bank sneakily charged me

Tbh, I doubt there'll be much difference in total cash between 37 and 39. Going to BHX wasn't too bad for me, I went at 4:30 on Sunday morning whilst on nights and didn't cost me anything in parking.

Considering a 600ml+ bottle of staropramen in Prague Tesco was only 15 crowns, 22,500 crowns will go a LONG way!
