Too many ins claims on the Fab vRS

Featured Replies

Ive no idea if the constant "Modding" threads on here have anything to do with the number of ins claims BUT the quotes im getting for the vRS have really gone up significantly yet for the Seat Ibiza TDI130 & Polo GT TDI130 they have stayed at the low level they always were.

Can you please stop having "incidents" in these cars as for me its now more expensive to insure than a Golf GT TDI150.

Rant over.

But you don't have a Fabia vRS?

Chris

I think there has indeed been a surge in claims, and at least one insurer are no longer taking on new policies for the Fabia vRS.

I dont have any problems, in fact mine just went down nearly

My insurance also dropped this year, and I renewed last week.

Try shopping around.

Steve

Mine's pretty damn cheap. And I made a claim during the flooding.

Well as per the Car option thread Ive more or less decided on the vRS so getting all the running costs finalised before the purchase.

The only other car in the picture really is the Golf GT TDI 150 with leather both would be sub

Try Admiral or Bell.

Confused.com - never let me down yet.

Try Adrian Flux they have done me alright in the past few years. If you are a member on here you also get an extra discount.

Uh-oh I'd better put my car back to standard quick so Welshy can get cheaper insurance. I'll try not too crash too.:rolleyes:

I believe it to be the Welsh 'language' :sheep:

but isn't yours a limited mileage policy at the moment

Low blow, very low.

Yeah lol I will take that as a compliment, a youthful 30 years old. But I do have plenty of "cares" as you put it and I work fing hard for my money thanks. You really shouldn't try to judge people so quickly.

I'm sorry no I really couldn't give a t*ss that the vRS premiums are high compared to other cars. I'm happy (as happy as you could ever be giving money away for "nothing") paying what I do and that's that.

ps. I've been driving for 13 years and have only ever had one non fault accident, almost 11 years ago so I have 10 years protected NCB.

Sorry despite being Welsh, living in Wales and having a very Welsh name I have no idea what you just said. I put it in a translator and it came up with this...

He y they sign he is being there offices news coming I Newport I could there is manner bottom afforddio pay as big or ingredients?

LOL?

Also, just because my car happens to be modified, it was (to the best of my knowledge) not the reason for the crash I had at this stage.

I could have been in any car when it happened. I was not using the power of the vehicle, or stuff like that, and it was still a write off. Had I driven a different car, probably an older one based on what I used to drive, I might well have had a pretty serious crash. Instead no-one was hurt, and the car was a write off.

If that means someones premium goes up a tad, then so be it. I paid enough on my premium to cover the risk, that's for sure..

I very much doubt Fabia vRS insurance is going to go the same way as insurance for a Saxo VTR for example.

If you are so concern about being mistaken for a yobo in a vRS Fabia, then get the Seat/VW.

I have just had a renewal, and my insurance has dropped by

Only if I get to wear the trousers..... oh sorry I thought you said in a gay way. I'll get me coat.:P
