Bearing in mind the point blank refusal of any discount and even offering a used car at more than a new one from just over the water even including the ferry fare I was a bit disappointed with their prices.

I do hear their service is excellent, so it is a bit of a shame on the pricing front. Still I guess when you have a captive audience as a lot of islanders won't leave it's a non-issue.

The pub hasn't been booked yet so final numbers are still needed and it's still open for others to join. I am going to need to book it very soon and I really don't know how the pub will cope. Last year we all sat together on one long table, I think we may be split up this time.

I'm hoping to finish the route from the Duver to the pub at Whitwell with satnav info next week. I want to take us through sandown and then shanklin old village through the twisties towards ventnor but dont want anyone to get lost on the way!

I would have loved to have made this one but I'm off to Dartmoor on that Saturday to do some mountain biking.

Did a bit of the rest of the route yesterday but took a wrong turn and couldn't be bothered to go back. Good job I will have Mr P with me or who knows where we may end up
