Looking forward to seeing the mutt. ;) Very cute little vid on facebook. :D

I have an idea!

I suggest instead of just parking up at my favourite beach as per usual, we actually get down and dirty on the real life sand and go for a walk. Then Harri will be happy :D

So I suggest bringing wellies or a spare pair of shoes aswell hats, scarves and gloves. You buggas insist on doing this in the dead of winter.

So asking for a misquote!

But, yes I agree. I would happily walk on a beach in my trainers as long as there's no rock pools to fall in :D

awwhh I well wanna go :( Bit of a trek for me on my todd though, and looks like I noticed the thread pretty late lol

If travelling to the Isle of Wight, I recommend that you bring lots of shiny objects with you to distribute among the natives then they will allow you to take photographs.

Please limit the amount of electronic devices that you take with you however, as these objects often cause widespread panic and confusion amongst the indigenous population who believe them to be associated with witchcraft and devilment.

As you are probably aware, the Isle of Wight was the last remaining area of The British Isles to adopt Chritianity as it's primary religion. A lot of the community still practise pagan rituals so don't be surprised if you are captured, bound and they try to burn you alive inside a large whicker structure resembling a man.

 Oh yee so brave to warn others of such peril. Tis true folks, it is a little weird when it comes to witch craft over here and I will take you up the longstone should you require to investigate these matters. There are wild ponies up there mind, and some weird stuff that gets left behind after the fire has long been burnt.

You forgot to mention passports Royston, those that don't carry them will be forced to stay for a whole year and learn the customs of such a wonderful place.

@Loz...come on chick, you've got satnav now

Anyone booked a ferry yet?

Anyone booked a ferry yet?

No it's too soon to book a ferry to the Island.

It happens regularly Christopher. It's so close nit over here that you can easily bump into someone you know and get a lift from them. Either that or you can just jump in the sea and be washed up a few weeks later. One or the other.

Anyways, are you and Lynn definets?

So what if you have your very own Jetski? Do you still have to book, or....

You book 48 hours in advance and collect your ticket there you are fine. If you just try and get on the ferry will be over £55.

I've done it once in an emergency and never again.

Looks like we are all good to go! Has anyone attempted a group discount for ferry tickets or is it every man (or woman) for themselves?
