Drivers who stop at roundabouts when you can see from half a mile away that it's clear

People who attempt to turn right out of a T-junction by blocking on coming traffic in the hope that someone will let them out. Well I can tell you....it won't be me!

Seconded...that REALLY gets on my t**s!!!

People who have no awareness of whats going on around them, so change lanes in front of you, don't notice emergency vehicles wanting to get through and don't notice red lights or zebra crossings.

A short fat annoying to$$er in a SAAB 9-3 Aero who doesn't look and just tries to drive through cars. Seen him do this repeatedly, including overtaking on and off slip roads, driving up peoples bumpers and pulling in/out without looking. Add to that excessive speed in the wet too.

How do you know he's short? he might just have his seat adjusted as low as it will go, and be a sloucher. Anyway, don't be heightist

Mark, for the last time, I HAVE A MONDEO not a Saab! ;):o:rofl:

Chris

just the general lack of consideration some people seem show other road users

It will if I'm pulling out the T-junction!:D

Also the god dam sons of mothers who use them bus lanes(that those bus things are supposed to be in)  :rofl:

When theres an obstruction on the other side of the road, (eg. a lorry or bus) and the traffic on that side just barges through and expects ME to drive in the gutter or on the pavement, when clearly they should be waiting for me to go past:finger:

I have decided to just stop now exactly where I am, I will not YIELD:rofl:

Just like the tw*t today in the Mitsubishi:eek:, yes it was me papping at you, you inconsiderate t*sser!

Get yourself a nice big armoured vehicle like a tank :D

Looking at a number of threads on here, would guess one of the biggest issues is those drivers that bump into your car then drive off without reporting it.

nothing wrong pulling off at junctions !!!!

I really dislike people who cruise up behind me on motorways, I'm using cruise control, pull out to overtake then just sit there level with the back of my car for mile after mile. JUST GET ON WITH IT. Sorry for shouting, now calm again lol. Also incorrect use of lanes on roundabouts, are they that difficult?

Bus drivers who think nothing of pulling out then indicating..or not indicating at all. I know you drive for a living. And you move lots of people around. But when I'm half way along your bus what is the point of pulling out? Or are you just a blind, selfish bar steward? Me...bitter....about this happening this morning.....noooooooo not at all, you go ahead and be a bully.

And the post about people not using roundabouts - tonight someone on the roundabout stopped to let other traffic join. Talk about confusing the whole system.

People here in NZ have a habit of indicating right to go straight on at a roundabout.

I think it used to be in the road rules here years ago that you should indicate right, then indicate left to go off.

I hate it, all it does is disrupt the flow of traffic because you stop to give way then the buggers turn off!

Or worse, if you're indicating right people assume you might be going straight on and pull out in front of you.

Grr.

Well, with me its roundabouts and these things wind me up:

1) People who dont indicate when approaching a roundabout when they know they are coming off at the 1st exit. (and dont even bother as they are exiting)

2) People who dont indicate right when approaching a roundabout when they know they are turning right.

3) People who dont bother using any indicator at a roundabout even just to show other roadusers where they intend to exit at.

4) People who think they have the right of way when they are waiting to get on the roundabout and just push their way on in front of you as you are going round it.

Rant over

*lets out a big exhail of air*

Drivers over here who have no idea how to use a roundabout (there are a few!) and just sit there and wait for someone to let them on to it! :(

Mark

People who can't be bothered to queue in the left hand lane for straight on and drive down the outside lane then push into the left hand lane or just cut straight accross on on the round about from the wrong lane

People who throw rubbish out of the window while driving

People who eat / smoke/ drink while driving

People who do make up while driving

parking in disabled parking bays with no disabled badge

Agression, road rage,

There's too many to list... but current annoyances...

The "I drive everywhere at 40 except on the slightest bends in an NSL when I must slow down, but tighter bends in the 30s are OK at 40" lot

People who pull out of side-roads in front of you even though the road is completely clear behind you and then dawdle along. Often followed by leaving the road at the next junction. "I was only going a little way, so it's not a problem".

As it is now officially "that time of year", people in French cars who can't control their foglights.

People who have no idea of the size of the vehicle they are driving.

Following on from above, those that must slam on the anchors as they pass every oncoming car. Just about understandable in the dark with headlights approaching, but in broad daylight ffs

As someone else mentioned, people who have no awareness of what is going on around them. "The cars in front went through, so there's no way on earth the lights could have changed colour or someone could have approached the zebra crossing..."

And everyone's favourite - motorway lane discipline. Especially weekends and school holidays when the centre lane is nose to tail with Scenics and Picassos. Grr

Oh, and Honda Jazzes

Today it is very foggy where I live and I have seen loads of people in dark or silver coloured cars with NO lights on at all:eek:

Numbskulls

Still "all of the above except comments about Dublin", oh and for French read German wrt unnecessary and/or illegal use of foglights.

Agree on fog lights. In Sweden it's illegal to use both dipped headlights and fog lights at the same time, but people do, constantly, even in fine weather. Probably just showing off: "I can afford a model with those extra gadgets". Foglights should be coupled so that you couldn't run them together with dipped beams, otherwise you should fail MOT.

Also people acting like: "Oh, traffic light turned green, maybe I should put my car in gear, lessee, where's the gearstick..."

And tailgating :finger:

I hate everyone and everything on the road except me. All the time.

Some people say I'm grumpy, but I'm not.

"Look at me; I am so stupid that I can't use a lightswitch!"

Interesting you say that as someone recently pointed out on here that on the octy the front foglights come on before the rears on the switch, therefore making your scenario impossible to avoid

Foglights should be coupled so that you couldn't run them together with dipped beams,

But that's how you have to use them in fog !!
