I thought about getting to the continent via the ferry from Hull, but haven't got as far as looking up the price difference etc...

in my case it would be the ferry from Rosyth - Zeebrugge

much better to have a sleep over night and wake up fresh on the continent, than dirve through the night down the length of Britain to get to Dover in the morning.

(edit - checked the SUperfast Ferries website. Travel thurs 29th May, come back Monday 2nd June. single car, 1 passenger. Reclining seat each way, total £194 !!)

its not a track , its a one way toll road , but i think most insurers now have small print excluding the Ring ,

you weren't planning on having an accident anyway , so i wouldn't worry about it

Could be worth a shot. Only trouble for is that I have a small fuel tank, so while it maybe just a tank each way for you Jase, its more like 1 3/4 for me. But I will look cool, while you just look smogged out
