Fabia Vs Concrete block!

Featured Replies

I spent all this morning doing it. ;)

I think ive found my calling, i dont want to be a civil engineer anymore, I want to be a mechanic :D

Will post some pics up when our lass pulls her finger out and takes some, i am rubbish with a camera as most of you already know.

The big dent underneath was pushed out from the inside through a small hole i drilled in the inner skin. The the whole underside of the car has had a good coat of underseal. Fuel cooler took all of 15 seconds to fit and console track control arm and bottom ball joint didnt take long either. The main problem i encountered was with the fuel tank...... what a pita of a job. and the sealing ring was stuck hard on the old tank so had to break it off and buy a new one.

Apart from that pretty easy fix and i am totally chuffed with myself

Good god you're fast.

You sure you just didn't order some of your 'heavies' to do it?

Awesome GTI are looking for a workshop technician. Wonder how long it would take you to get there everyday, would be much better if they didn't allow anyone else on woodhead pass when you travelled over.

Yer i saw, but they will be wanting someone who is actually trained and a degree in civil engineering wont get me very far ;)

I am self taught and i think that counts for alot, there loads of people who can't even change a wheel or a bulb nevermind a Bottom Ball joint, clutch and flywheel or even a timing belt by themselves.

The car runs absolutley spot on, i cant fault it all now :D Makes me feel all warm inside when i drive it

  I made a 100mile round trip to get ARB bushes fitted only for it take a couple of mins. Can cope with wheels and bulbs though.

How much to service mine??????

Ar i already know about that, and it will never get to 300bhp ;)

I plan to get to 300bhp another way, with this beast

Electric Supercharger Turbo FIAT PUNTO COUPE BRAVA on eBay, also, Performance Tuning Parts, Car Tuning Styling, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 29-Feb-08 20:00:00 GMT)

Sending it off to TD see what they can do with it, there has been plans to use the motor out of a dyson and machine the housing to fit,
