ha thanks, The Yellow one is my dads which has been an ongoing project for the last three months and the red one is a friends.

Rah !!! German Look Forever !!!

Good pics.

it's possible your Octy vRS + Golf mk1 versus pics ?

Sorry for my english...

there well tastey!! great photos:D

Really good photos there. Red cars rule the entire world BTW. It amazes me how people can keep old cars in such good condition. It must take over your life. Commendable.

No speed humps near you then??

Stunning!!

Both really good examples of the Mk1.

Stunning mate.

Were you at Ultimate?

Very nice indeed.

I thought my mk1 was in good nick, but not compared to those!

very nice cars, just makes me want one now lol

did they only come with one wing mirror back in the day?

What is with the kurbscraper wheel look?

The stretch looks cool but I think the wheels on the red one are a little big in diameter, but hey thats being real picky. Stunning cars.

bet the yellow one either is never out the garage when it rains, or has real issues when it does rain. ;)

Both look very nice

did they only come with one wing mirror back in the day?

Most cars of that vintage only had a drivers mirror, only top of the range executive cars had the luxury of having one on the passenger door.

Either way its the less is more approach. Clean lines and as little fuss as possible.

As Dale hasn't been online i thought i'd let you know that the red mk1 has just finished been re-built by chris and was at ultimate dubs with the other dub-life guys, some say 16's are too big for a mk1 but i personally disagree as these look spot on as did paul websters old mk1 which was on 16" bbs's and the yellow one is Dales dads car and is not finished yet so it hasn't been on the road yet but will be as soon as its done and can honestly say that it will be driven regardless of the weather,he is also building a polo derby which is awesome,if anyones interested there are build threads on edition 38,Dales user name is redsquare and his dads is derbism

Nice colours...

The long lens shots are my favourites, not keen on the UWA ones.

Just repeat them somewhere else with better backgrounds. None the less well done.
