  1. Could it be having a regen?

I managed to fit four of the five nets but I bought some carabiners (from Amazon Ziyero 10 for £6.99) these loop into the net loops a treat, boot is now reasonably tidy.
  3. Have a look on the far side of the car for a spherical indentation, it could well be an 8mm steel ball bearing from a catapult. We had a "home alone" kid using a tennis raquet to wallop golf balls and squash balls to all points of the compass and they don't half richochet!

That parcel shelf needs to be better utilised, doesn't it

Thank you Allesandu, I wonder if the rear shelf and net was an option? It is so annoying to have nets and no instructions.

I came across a couple of photos, these look handy but I don't seem to have the necessary fittings. the boot is small and clutters easily.

My Kamiq Monte, has a set of 4 nets, I have not used them as there does not seem to be any obvious fixings for them. Do they require a set of fixing accessories?

I have tried an adhesive mount, thanks 😉 it came adrift as well, I think it must be this hot sun. I'm afraid so, but there is no useful shade. I may have to get a windscreen shade. Thank you both

My Monte doesn't creak, I usually wipe into the joins on internal plastics with silicone polish or just silicone spray when I get a new car. I do wish the bl**dy dash cam would stay stuck to the windscreen.
  11. I have been looking for another boot linerand came across this; https://www.travelsmartbootliners.co.uk/skoda/kamiq/
  12. I had the software update and so far no problems; Then the car alarm went off, so spitting feathers I unlocked the car and ..... the dash cam had dropped, the mount suction had failed and set the alarm off.

Have you looked for a workshop view of the vents? that might help.
  14. Those USB 'C' are awful no apparent mechanical support to them they rock about and even just fall out. I run my usb 3 stick on a cable with a right angle 'C' plug to straight usb 3 female adapter and don't disturb the set up unless I really have to.
  15. I towed with mainly a diesel Ford Focus and two Yeti and I am reasonably certain I never inflated the tyres as high as 44 psi. I was very finicky about correct loading of the caravan and everything was weighed and marked with its weight in kilos so I did not exceed the all up weight. There were only my wife and myself in the car so heavy stuff was loaded forward of the rear wheels in the footwells to keep the centre of gravity low and lighter stuff on the seats and in the boot, this made it easier to get at the spare wheel without piling stuff by the side of the road (in the event of a puncture) Incidently my caravan tyres were rated for speed, I was witness to a caravan tyre blowing without being involved in the resulting mayhem and in going to help noticed the tyres were more probably more suited for a wheelbarrow. (my own opinion) Bear in mind that with tyres inflated to max 44 psi that the car may handle differently when unloaded, particularly in the wet.
  16. With the caravan correctly loaded and the caravan tyre pressures and nose-weight correct, provided the car is sensibly loaded, it should drive well.
  17. Do you have the radar cut out in your grill?
  18. Good detective work!
  19. I was towing a caravan with a Yeti not far past Bristol on the M5 everything started to squeak and groan. It was extremely Hot. I came off the motorway and sprayed every suspension rubber I could reach with silicone lube and restarted my journey. Lovely and quiet except for the tow hitch which still squealed, arriving on site it was so loud I had to wet the friction pads with water. I had a similar problem with a car which had nylon steering bushes, these needed wetting ocassionally to stop the squeak and squeal.
  20. Its a Google pixel 3A (they are up to the 6's now I think) I bought a cable but it cozied up to AA straight away and no disconnects until the one I mentioned, which may have been all the radio traffic around the surgery.
  21. I dropped someone off at the GP surgery this morning and android auto dropped out. Before driving away I reconnected the phone to Android with no problem, connection Bluetooth.
  22. Buy a can of switch cleaner, apply liberally, work switch re-apply, work switch. wait for next recurrance.
  23. 18" on my Monte Carlo, the ride must be good 'cause my wife doesn't say anything (the seats are super as well) I can also compliment the handling. Downside, the tyres may be more expensive.
  24. How is the battery charge after all the exercise it is getting?
  25. I use usb 3, 32gb and 64gb memory sticks music recorded as mp3 short right angled cables to the car C-ports Works well so far.
