    I agree with Surreyjohn
  3. Spare wheel, reversing camera, dished rubber mats, mudflaps, mirror usb, warning triangle.
  4. All my Skoda (2x Yeti and a Fabia Monte) so far have wipers that slow or stop when coming to a rest.
  5. There seems to be a trend to use inflexible "flex" for other electrical items like battery chargers charger base stations wired headphones. Yet automotive cable, is available in smaller diameters of high current capacity and with better insulation.
  6. I think Lazy Fireball describes the gearshifting you describe (this may have been a Vauxhall description)
  7. I tried the second of the two usb c ports, nearest the dash, this time using an Anker adaptor and it all played. The usb stick is a 64 gb Sandisk ultra usb 3 stick. Incidently I bought a 32 gb stick to try and that also works well, Hurray!
  8. I had no idea that petrol cars had a regen!
  9. It is a 1.5 petrol with dsg.
  10. It is a 1.5 Kamiq Monte Carlo Dsg low milage, in fact hardly any milage at all. I will check the underside for bbq road kill tomorrow.
  11. My wife and I came down out local bypass rather quickly today, only a couple of miles and then home. When we got home and on the drive the car smelt hot and bothered but the wheel hubs were cool. I assume then that the dsg clutches did not like 60-70mph, this does seem unlikely though.
  12. This is a duplicate post, you have 1 answer on the other post.
  13. Roof bars are not an option? I think looking at the inside it is around 234cm from boot to dash, depending on angle.
  14. Was I just lucky or did I take a more mature attitude to the occassional glitch that comes with todays sophisticated cars? Everything seems to work on my Kamiq from the off (this may change, having posted this so I reserve the right to moan ) I am glad that everyone settled down, cast off the Mr. Angry guise and got things sorted. All this electronic gadgetry has been attached to VW cars so it must have a reasonable pedigree.
  15. Which model of car have you got? just for my curiosity.
  16. Fabia Estate Monte Carlo 1L 110ps Fuel economy good, Performance very good, fitted with top box for camping carried everything including the kitchen sink. Loved it
  17. Theres a handbook! Thank you very much.
  18. I downloaded some music to the car (Admunsen) all stuff that played on both Yeti and Fabia monte. Only two of the tracks played, I thought they were all mp3 but some (the majority were not) Does anyone know which formats are compatible, please.
  19. I once (or twice) slept in a 2CV but I preferred an Eriba Puck L caravan. I did find this interesting, but have not studied it in any detail, yet!
  20. I came across this and thought it must be of general interest but could not see an appropriate pigeon hole https://www.space4dreams.com/p/297/floor-leveling-for-skoda-roomster
  21. Do you have a photo and bear in mind someone put the spring in!
  22. Finally bought the expensive Kamiq Skoda mats from Hortons, very quick delivery.
  23. What sort of terrain do you cover on the short trip? it could affect signal strength or just be bumpy enough to loosen a plug.
