  1. you don't need the d-link - you can patch ifs root and install mib toolbox directly from sd card with latest mib toolbox, enable developer mode in module 5f using vcds, and get to it via green screen developer menu.
  2. I've done it today without VCP, just a combination of VCDS and M.I.B. Toolbox which is software you can put on the SD card. for those like me who have MIB2 or 2.5 HIGH (Columbus). VCDS to enable developer mode on module 5F , then patch ifs root using MIB toolbox, then into the GEM greenscreen developer menu, and it has VIM options to set the speed that the VIM lock kicks in

  6. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-1m-x-40cm-SEMI-RIGID-HD-HDPE-7mm-PLASTIC-MESH-SCREEN-FILTER-RIDDLE-BARRIER-/292241421165?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 It was a bit of a pain to fit. When I went to fit the grille I realised there is very little extra room for tolerance, so I had to trim the mesh as tight as possible and use an 18watt soldering iron to plastic weld it together, I spent a lot of time doing the trimming and plastic welding, because after all the effort of fitting it back in the bumper and getting the bumper back together, I don't want the mesh to come apart in the wind at high speed, so I made sure this was as strong as possible a bond. I didn't want to use metal mesh because paint would just chip off it and it would rust over time.
  7. Also start by getting a copy of the brochure for your MY where all the options are listed, and pretty easy to then check which ones you have
  8. Are you sure?... Antares look like the pic below. What you have are I believe Zeniths. I'm selling a set of pretty immaculate 18 Zeniths at the moment on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254901286517
  9. Is there some way to sync videos on the MIB2 screen to ipads on the headrests, or even a way to do this if it means buying some vag group headrest screens (what part numbers?) thanks!
  10. Is there not a Lacquer over the top?
  11. Welcome aboard. Real skoda fan it seems
  12. Thanks, once it's done is it inferior in any way to a "true" mib2.5, or just as good in every way? And do you know anyone who can do this as a service, or point me to a forum where the hack is discussed? Thanks again!
  13. Looks like 3fh is carbon, no? https://m.oemvwshop.sk/3v0857053a-3fh-kryt-pre-karbonove-puzdro-pristroja-skoda-superb-3v-p2294752/
  14. Dzien dobre Przeprasem, nie mowie po polsku. Staram sie, ale to takie... trudne? I'm Irish having lived in the UK for around 20 years, but I always try out my Polish language every time I meet a Pole, because they keep telling me it's an in possible language for me to learn, So I'm determined to prove them wrong 😂 This is a great forum for advice and help 👍 I have vcds but not vcp, and have done some vcds coding on the superb MY16
  15. Hi, I have a feeling @pab567 will know the answer here are there any online discussions detailing how the main harman headunit of an MIB2 can be updated to be 2.5? or do I actually have to buy the 2.5 main unit also? ive updated the software on my MIB2 already from MHI2_ER_SKG11_P3260 to the most recent supported on that train
  16. I think the pre-facelift parts are 3V0857053NF8 or 3V0857053ANF8 and we just need to figure out the facelift part numbers for these. it may help to give the VIN of a facelift car to your dealer @Camarao69 should have the answer to this.
  17. Update bios as and when you have a specific need for a specific update. If unsure, read the details of the changeset and see what's changed in the new version.
  18. It's not meddling at all! super cool, and nice to have another extra option out there
  19. what trim piece did you need above the steering wheel for a good fit? do you have a part number for that? thanks (this may only apply to certain year cars)
  20. Same next to all 4 wheels. Where you see the lip is "thicker"
  21. The drivers side is easy on my 280. Just remove enough of the wheel liner to get access behind the bumper. Officially wheel off to remove the wheel liner, but having removed the bumper, I'm pretty confident I could do it by just turning the wheel enough, don't think I'd even need to jack up and remove wheel. Passenger side.. Well in my car that's a bumper off job due to the intercooler being jammed ip against the back of the bulb
  22. I heard that the MIB2 could be software updated somehow to 2.5, and that you'd just then need the bigger screen. Does anyone know if it's true, or know how that's done?
  23. I used stickers international. I'll attach the file you need here and you can choose the brushed silver or whatever sticker background you want to show through from their site. laurin-klement-1.svg
