When I did it (some years ago now). I did it at the point of re-mortgaging because my current fix was up. I think some ask what you want the additional money for ie home improvements / new car / holiday etc. But it was pretty straightforward from what I remember!

Cant say I use it really. Its a bit slow with the sat nav but then the sat nav is sometimes a little slow, I guess due to clarity of GPS signal?

I feel your pain. I did similar about 2 weeks after getting mine. Admit to having done it a couple of times since too . Have resigned myself to living with curbed alloys and promised myself when I have money they will become my 'winter wheels' and I shall buy some nice 19' rims and tyres (with some inbuilt protection haha) for swanning about on in summer.

Ahh I know this location and I think that roundabout is a nightmare at the best of times. Very few people seem to know where they are going or how to drive it. Sorry to say I think insurance will blame you or if you are lucky it will go 50/50. Get a dashcam fitted. There are way too many idiots and foreign drivers on kents roads!

Not sure if I will be along to this. Am on a study day at Darent Valley until half 4 ish so would be a bit of a faff to come all the way home just to turn round and come half way back again. Will see how the time is going and whats going on with the hounds on the day.
