  1. Just ask for the software, extract it from the zip file to a EMPTY USB C memory stick, if you go back a couple of pages you'll find out how to do it yourself as I posted a guide.
  2. These are the only altered settings on my S22 Ultra. USB Debugging - Off Wireless Debugging - Off Default USB - Transferring files. AVRCP - 1.6
  3. Do you have a VPN installed? Also you may need to tweak your phone. Do you have developer mode enabled?
  4. I think that you need a new bit of hardware to resolve your problem.
  5. Then it's a server fault. From what I've been told the files are from November. You may want to try using the VW navigation site.
  6. Is that using your vehicles VIN number? If so then like the message says there's a server error.
  7. I'm starting to think that those who have experienced faults after the new software was installed, may need to have new hardware installed as well. Ive not had any pop pop or other glitches so far.
  8. Notes. After it has finished updating the system, give it a couple of minutes to ensure that all is well and like it shows on video press resume an wait for about 90s or so and the system will restart just, like in the video. DO NOT START THE CAR UNTIL THE SYSTEM HAS RESTARTED After the update the built-in manual is unlikely to be available for about 48hrs, it does come back! You will more than likely receive another OTA update, it's OK to accept it. Ultimately if you are at all worried about doing it, take it to a VW Independent or Skoda dealer and ask them to do it for you Once it has been updated, there should be no more random restarts or crashes on the infotainment system, the pop pop issue should be gone too.. You may have an issue with Android Auto if you have a VPN installed on your mobile phone or tablet. This is resolved by turning off the VPN and restarting Android Auto.
  9. Right. All you do is create a temporary folder on your PC or Tablet for example MIB3 UG. Then find the zip file and then right click on it or press and hold on it, so the menu appears and it should offer you the opportunity to Extract here or elsewhere, tell it to extract the files to MIB3 UG folder and let it get on with it. When it has finished, format a usb memory stick so it's completely empty, then go to the folder MIB3 UG open it and copy the 2 folders and other file directly onto the memory stick. When it has finished copying the files to the memory stick it should look something like this... THERE MUST BE NO OTHER FILES THAN THIS. Once your memory stick looks like this, remove it and take it to the car. Insert it into a USB port, press and hold the menu button for about 10 seconds and the update menu will appear. At this point it's vital that you have a full or very well charged car battery or a battery charger attached so that the car doesn't shutdown halfway through the process. Ignition needs to be ON, the Engine needs to be OFF (NOT RUNNING)! DO NOT START IT DURING THE PROCESS. Here's a video that shows you what to do, albeit in German, you'll get the English version! If you watch it carefully you'll get the gist of what to do. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST THE PROCESS BE STOPPED ONCE IT HAS STARTED OTHERWISE YOU'LL MORE THAN LIKELY NEED A NEW INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM.
  10. I'm afraid I don't know 😕
  11. I'll wait until the next mapping update comes out then
  12. I've got a navigation update and it appears to be week 25 in 2023. File is: OI_P95_EU_202325_Offline_Update
  13. Few Hours! Once I extracted the files to the memory stick and plucked up the nerve to do the update it took no more than 45m to complete. Another dealer taking the proverbial.
  14. Just before I get to sleep the link I have is no longer functional, so you're going to have to wait until one of the two distributors come online again for a fresh link. There also maybe another reason why, but I'm not going to supply any download of it incase of legal issues
  15. I'm going Offline until approximately 1100 am for sleep a day breakfast.. Sorry for the delay
  16. I still have the link, I can pass it on if varooom doesn't object. However it MUST NOT BE POSTED ON THIS THREAD OR FORUM FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER
  17. Well when you book the car in give them the TPI number and ask them to install the new firmware update as part of the work, if they say no, then just say fine but don't expect any further sales or servicing from yourself, comeback, check what firmware you have and then use the firmware update that has been so kindly supplied by two fine upstanding members of briskoda and install it yourself for free. Just remember that the normal caveats apply, but if an idiot like me can do it anyone can.
  18. What firmware do you have? It might be worth an upgrade.
  19. Dealer probably wasn't aware of what software or firmware was installed on the vehicle.
  20. Mine arrived with 1900 and the car downloaded some updates and that's when the issues started, no issues since the 1941 update.
  21. Is the ethernet meant to update? I only ask because mine never did, not that I'm worried, the system is stable and has stopped rebooting.
  22. Go to the Skoda update portal and follow the links from there. The one I downloaded is 2023 wk 25 (whenever that is)
  23. I'd try updating the infotainment system firmware to 1941, it seems to cure an awful lot of issues, I've had absolutely no more problems with restarts since I updated it.
  24. Doesn't work with S22 Ultra on AA (MY 23 RS) either. That's on FW: 1941 as well.
  25. 50/50 I'd say. But if you're desperate for it as varooom or his colleague for it and do the update. The usual caveats apply. But I did it and if an idiot like me can do it anyone can. You just need a usb memory stick (you may need a usb A to C adapter) extract the files into the memory stick which MUST BE COMPLETELY CLEAR OF ANYTHING.
