  1. It was night and i was a little bit desperate, their shape was something like Silica Gel, tough and a little bit ''sharp'' in the edges. They were ''shining'' even in the light of the ceiling lamp and i blame that idiot mechanic which throw them away while washing the expansion tank. I wish i could keep some of them for further examination. My first thought was that a part from the radiator or the thermostat was corroded and produced these. Maybe was that powder from the sealant additive which made a chemical reaction with the Amsoil additive.
  2. Yes but Instant coffee (we call it Frappe here) begins from powder but in this end nothing is left in the bottom of the glass. I change my coolant every 2-3 years and so far i haven't see anything like these ''glitters", was an unpleasant surprise. I have added a little bit of this https://www.liqui-moly.com/en/radiator-stop-leak-p000198.html#2505 as a precaution, so far nothing suspicious inside the plastic tank, no decolourization either.
  3. Yes that's what i ment by the word ''easy'' https://forum.4troxoi.gr/topic/50315/node-50315/15?_=1679859361861 https://www.bmwfans.gr/forum/showthread.php?t=19298 has some drawbacks too.
  4. K-Seal is a liquid and not a pownder. So your ''glitters'' where came from? From corrosion of some part?
  5. If it reduces the weight of the flywheel when releases the gas pedal the revs won't drop so easy as in a normal car.
  6. I could expect a discolourization but ''glitters''? If the car wasn't locked i could say this was a bad joke or some kind of sabotage. Nevertheless there is some sort of ''good thing'' of what happened otherwise those granules would stay somewhere in the circuit stucked causing nothing more than problems.
  7. 100 HP from a stock cylinder-piston 8v engine? From an MPI with ECU chip-custom exhaust-air filter 75 HP is already an ''achievement''. For more you need custom camshaft, new pistons and work on the engine block, valves and of course a custom ECU programme. The cost would be enormous but from the other hand a turbo with all the paraphernalia would cost less. I don't know if a mechanic there can fit a Fabia 16V (101HP) to you engine bay but how about an engine swap with 1600cc Felicia (75HP from factory) plus ECU+exhaust+filter?
  8. I have an ECU chip (updated recently), custom exhaust and K&N filter and i got some HP. There are some turbo Felicia but the whole cost is huge (except the turbo-intercooler etc you need gearbox-suspension-rims,tyres etc).
  9. I said to the mechanic ''when you remove the expansion tank check those glitters from what material they are'' but that idiot didn't do it. He throw anything away, completely clean the plastic tank and made a coolant refill. After few days i checked (2 times) thoroughly the plastic tank at night with flash light, to ''glitters'' at all, i also checked the coolant sensor but nothing. The first moments when i discovered this was terrible, i thought for instance that the whole circuit would be full of these detritus and i will start having overheating problems. The best scenario is that due to gravity and after the ''boiling'' procedure all these ''glitters'' have ''depositioned'' to the sides of the expansion tank and stayed there. I would NEVER use such a radiator sealant type again.
  10. Amsoil additive is red colour, my coolant is Blue so maybe the combination turn to Green. No was many years ego and was like these which Yes were like ''dust''. https://autocorner.gr/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/fwkia-arexons-skonh.autocorner.gr_.jpg https://www.angelidis.gr/photos/4011.jpg The weird was that i had no ''glitters'' inside the hoses or on the coolant sensor, everything was clear. I checked those ''glitters'' in my palm, were small detritus like some pulverized material. Unfortunately i had no magnet available at that time to see if it was iron.
  11. Few months ago i had the idea to open the cap from my expansion tank for inspection. What i saw that night i couldn't believe it in the beginning, something was glowing inside and my first thought was to empty it. I took my flash light and while i was anxious and took few photos, i know aren't in good quality but i was in a hurry to finish the job and return home. After emptying the content, you can see them on the cement floor ''shinning" a bit. I blame the Amsoil additive that i put few months earlier, maybe it done some sort of like chemical reaction with a material inside the whole circuit or it's something else that i don't know. First time in my whole life i see ''glitters'' inside a coolant mix, any helpful thoughts from you Gentlemen?
  12. Check the spark plugs, the throttle, the Lambda sensor, change gas station for 1-2 times, change the engine oil-oil filter. By the way charge your battery too and when everything is checked make a journey with high rpm.
  13. My english are not good but do you mean these? https://www.seatmotorparts.co.uk/seat-shop/genuine-vw-seat-audi-skoda-front-brake-caliper-carrier-bracket-bolts/ Part Number: N91084901 / N 91084901 https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/n91084901-screw-m14x1-5x55-skoda-27922.html
  14. Sorry i saw this too late, i have opened mine many years ago because i had a problem with my horn. No ''beep'' at all, the technician opened and i remember that this connector was for sure straight. Yours maybe took an inclination while opening.
  15. In PC this link does not work properly, leeds to another page, do not follow it anymore.
  16. See two examples (non Amazon) https://sparktecmotorsports.com/i-30612398-red-line-oil-mt-90-75w90-manual-transmission-gear-oil-gl-4-1-quart.html?v=1 https://www.classic-oils.net/Red-Line-MT90 and a local GR dealer https://www.trade-wind.gr/RED-LINE-MT-90-75W90-GL-4-946-ML-gr If i was a Saudi Prince i would put Ester or racing Oil even to my lawn mower, i bet that Mustafa can not make such an expense. For example me i put Motul although i could buy Amsoil or Red Line or Liqui Moly but i don't see the reason for such an extra cost for the simple every day use of my Felicia. If we start buying ''the best'' for anything for our old car soon will be homeless.
  17. Здравствуйте, хорошая у вас машина. Рулевое колесо имеет деревянную отделку?
  18. https://www.amazon.com/Red-Line-50304-Transmission-Transaxle/dp/B005F1ZH7U?th=1 4 bottles have 82.04$ without shipping. I don't think that Mustafa or any other Felicia owner will give so much money for his Gear Oil because if you add the money for an expensive Motor Oil or Brake Fluid or Coolant etc will dissipate his salary. I had the original gear oil (i suspect was Valvoline) for about 30.000 Km, i change it with a MOTUL MOTYLGEAR for 40.000 Km and again the same till now. My opinion ia that is already ''too godd'' for this old design every day car as the Felicia is, no need for ''super'' products because isn't a super-car.
  19. The price is about 35 euro per 946 ml, you need 2.4 litre so you must buy 3 plastic bottles = 105 euro Are you willing to spend 105 euro per 3 years only for purchase gear box oil?
  20. Have you seen on a label of a gear oil the ''60.000 Km or 3 years whichever comes first" as we have seen in engine oil label the ''10.000 or 12 months" ? MANNOL Universal Getriebeoel 80W-90 API GL-4 Gear oil SAE 80W-90 API GL-4 MIL L 2105 https://sct-catalogue.de/index.php?locale=en&action=catalog_part_info_view&code=10180406000&id_brand=0&item_code=MNL_10180406000&id_provider=240&return=action%3Dcatalog_product_latest%26step%3D215
  21. 60000 kilometers = 37282 miles The @Mustafa_Samir drives 4000 Km (2485 miles) in 2 years which means it would take many years till the next gear oil change.
