  1. That's not entirely truth. MIB1 Bolero and MIB1 Amundsen display have RESOLUTION (not refresh rate - refresh rate is the same) of 400x240 so can't be used with MIB2 units as they have resolution of 800x480. MIB1 Columbus display (5E0919606) has resolution 800x480 so the same as MIB2 AMundsen / Bolero / Columbus so it CAN be used with these units. MIB2.5 Columbus has a resolution of 1024x600 and it works ONLY with display 5E0919606D.
  2. No, infotainment unit 5Q0035819C is a simplified version of Bolero and it does NOT support CarPlay. It much be replaced, e.g. with 5Q0035840C full Bolero version. I can deliver it in Plug&Play version. You may also need to chnage USB - pls share VIN so I can check. Firmware updates are NOT available from SKODA update portal.
  3. Much better :) You have SWING MY15, with Bluetooth, without DAB. You need display unit, glove box unit, new USB and harness to connect it all. I can deliver isuch set, pls contact me on PM if you are interested.
  4. Too short number - should have 17 characters.
  5. If it's not listed in the languages list then I'm afraid it's not possible in your unit.
  6. So now you have Columbus MIB1, with Bluetooth, without DAB, part number 5E0035045D, with USB 5Q0035726C and fortunately you don't have CANTON sound system. You can install one of four different OEM glove box units: - MIB2 Bolero - MIB2 Amundsen - MIB2 Columbus - MIB2.5 Columbus You don't need to replace display unit unless you want to retrofit MIB2.5 Columbus as the only display unit that works with it is 5E0919606D. If you woulkd like to use Apple CarPlay then you also have to replace USB port. The question is what is your budget and which of listed below features are "must have": - Video playback from DVD, USB, SD - CD playback - OEM navigation - displaying OEM maps in Virtual Cluster (Active Info Display). All units support SmartLink (Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink), rear view camera, voice command. features that differ them: - MIB2 Bolero - no OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB - MIB2 Amundsen - OEM navigation, no CD/DVD drive, no video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, no support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster) - MIB2.5 Columbus - OEM navigation, CD/DVD drive, video playback from SD/USB, support for displaying OEM maps in Active Info Display (Virtual Cluster)
  7. Rear wiper engine. You have to find a cabe that has +12V when ignition is on. Or reverse light bulb ut in this case you should use a special filter on the power line.
  8. I sent you link to MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P0080L_8755, this is the most recent I have. Don't use USB, just SD. 1. format SD (best max 32GB) under FAT32 2. unpack to root (metainfo2.txt and all the folders must be placed directly on SD, not in any folder) 3. insert SD card into the slot 4. enter Service Menu (long press MENU button)
  9. It looks that you are trying to update from SW version 02xx or 03xx - this is not possible unless you patch your unit first.
  10. I understand but as I wrote you previously, I don't use it at so can't help you more.
  11. Patching is made with MIB STD2 Toolbox so have it installed, in the newest version.
  12. I don't use it at all so someone else has to confirm but if this is the newest version then IMHO you should go with it.
  13. Just google for 'MIB STD2 TOOLBOX" then read and follow instructions from github
  14. @fthkara 0369, I have just sent you download link on PM @Davidmet14 You can upgrade to MST2_EU_VW_PQ_P0480T but first you have to install MIB STD2 Toolbox and patch swdownload in order to install this firmware
  15. @fthkara you have non-navigation unit, upgrading to 0480 in this case requires unit to be dismantledm opened and resoldered. @Davidmet14 pls post part number of your unit.

  17. For sure you should try, I sent you download link on PM.
  18. All check your PMs. MIB2 units do NOT support wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
  19. Try resetting your infotainment unit to facory settings.
