  1. I believe Skoda delaer will cost you much more than 40€... at least twice as much... Yes, 350€ for plug and play for all to change to MIB2 Bolero
  2. 150€? Have you calculated cost of Skoda dealer services? Cost for Bolero MIB2 set (glove box unit 5Q0035840x + display unit 5E0919605H + USB 5Q0035726J) is approx 350 EUR plus shipping.
  3. If you want to remain with MIB1 Bolero - yes
  4. Glove box unit model 5E0035840x where x is a letter A, B, C etc. This is MIB1 unit. If you would like to get MIB2 then you shoul dget 5Q0035840x (x - same as bove) but in this case you must also replace the display unit and, if you want to have new features, e.g. SmartLink enabled, have the unit hacked.
  5. @mrlittle I'm afraid file system in your unit is corrupted - such behavior is a typical symptom of it. Unfortunately, in such cases SW upgrade or downgrade is NOT possible - at least I have never been able to have it done. Assuming I'm right, you have two options: 1. replace the unit with same type - remove components protection and reactivate FEC/SWaP codes by Skoda dealer 2. retrofit MIB2 unit - such units can be hacked so on one hand you spend more money on new parts but you don't have to pay Skoda dealer for his services I'm really sorry but this is always a risk when running SW upgrade 😞
  6. Yes, it supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The unit itself is protected with Componet Protection technology, Android Auto and Apple Carplay are activated with FEC/SWaP codes
  7. Indeed, sorry for confusion...
  8. There can be couple of reasons, coul dyou pls make a short video showing the problem?
  9. Not possible, the best option is to use MIB STD2 PQ unit from Alhambra
  10. What is your Sat Nav - Amundsen or Columbus?
  11. @Grain get someone with Vag Can Pro or ODIS and upgrade your KESSY. If you don't find anyone locally make it with SKODA dealer. I bet all your issues will be solved (assuming Clumbus unit is 100% electrically OK).
  12. A lot of aftermarket units have any issue with OEM sound systems. You must either get the unit that is guranteed to work with OEM sound system or return to OEM system - either Columbus RNS510 or Bolero / Amundsen MIB STD2 PQ unit.
  13. Your factory installed instruments cluster part number is 5E0 920 941. Virtual cluster part number is one of 5E0 920 790, 5E0 920 790 A
  14. Nope, 9.2" screen will NOT work with your unit as it requires MIB2.5 Columbus due to higher resolution. What is your car? VIN pls.
  15. Let me know model number and SW version of your KESSY module (address 05) - there were some issues that were solved by SW upgrade. I originally had 5K0 959 434 A with SW 0802 and had similar issues. I have solved them by upgrading SW to 0902 which caused model number to be changed to 5K0 959 434 B.
  16. Hi. Unfortunately it looks that both are broken 😞
  17. I think not, let me know some VINs so I can check
  18. @Birdy1 do you have rear video recorder camera?
  19. @kellow87 your car is Fabia MY15 and your infotainment unit is Bolero 5Q0035820. To get Android Auto you must have it repalced either with Bolero (no OEM navigation) 5Q0035842x / 565035842 or Amundsen 5Q0035874x / 565035874 (x - letter A, B, C). new unit must be patched to enable new features. I can have such unit delivered - if you ar einterested pls contact me on PM.
  20. Typically this is the problem of START/STOP button itself. It can be dismantled and simply cleaned with alcohol.
  21. Link for MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T sent via PM to both
  22. It's not so easy... What do you exactly need to achieve and why?
