  1. You don't need to update the firmware, especially if everything works OK. Firmware updates are not published officially, they are available only for Skoda dealers.
  2. 1. OEM units are covered with components protection technology, then need to be matched with the car by Skoda dealer or someone having so called ODIS ONLINE account for Skoda. Pls note to enable new features, not supported originally, e.g. SmartLink, new unit must be hacked. 2. OEM units - yes, for aftermarket units you hae to check with supplier.
  3. Officially this is not possible. Unofficial way is to install the hacked unit however it refers to Bolero and Amundsen systems only - at least I know nobody who can hack Swing. If you are interested in retrofitting Boelro or Amundsen pls contact me on PM.
  4. I believe not but unfortunately I cannot help you.
  5. @sickzoid you have firmware download link on PM. For maps download use Volkswagen Map Updates make sure to unlock the file directly to SD root. @Pantersencheck your PM for download link
  6. This is NOT a MIB unit. I have no frimware for it 😞
  7. @Madsus you have download link on PM
  8. It is compatible otherwise the update process would not start at all. As I wrote you in PM - either problem with SD card or unit itself (EMMC).
  9. So it looks your unit had a SW patch for both CP and activations. Such units should NOT be upgraded. Now the unit must be patched again...
  10. What does it mean "mono"? Do you have sound only on one side or both?
  11. Typical problem with Columbus RNS510 units. I have a friend quite close to you that should be able to have it repaired, will send you link on PM
  12. Either you have incorrectly prepared SD card with swoftware or ypour unit is broken. Try another SD card.
  13. All check your PMs
  14. Nope, but I'm pretty sure you find them if you google
  15. I don't have any SW for your unit 😞
