  1. @lway you hit the point - too busy to review just like that, I react only when I'm tagged. All check your PMs.
  2. Indeed, your unit is Columbus MIB1 with DAB/DAB+ receiver. Direct replacement, that works with your display unit as well as the new display unit you mentioned (5E0919605M), is Columbus MIB2 3V0035020x (or 3V0035021x if you want to add Premium Bluetooth and LTE modem functionality, x means any letter). Another possibility to use any of display units mentioned above is Amundsen 5Q0035874x (x = letter A, B, C) or 565035874. You can also install Columbus MIB2.5 unit 565035020x / 565035021x but this will require display unit 5E0919606D which is expensive and hardluy available. If you are interested in any of mentioned above units in P&P version pls contact me on PM.
  3. make it and you will find out...
  4. Just take a knife and from the blue plug cut out excessive plastic trim that block you pluging it into black 4-pin socket in display unit
  5. Virtual Cockpit works with Amundsen 5Q0035864C (non-DAB) and 5Q0035874C (DAB/DAB+) and MIB2.5 Columbus (5650350....). With Amundsen, you can display the map either on display unit or Virtual Cockpit while with Columbus you can display map simultaneously on both.
  6. Guys, pls do not mix glove box unit with display unit. EVERY MIB2 glove box unit works with EVERY MIB2 screen. Some buttons may not work, e.g. NAV and TRAFFIC if you have non-nav unit (Bolero) or APP (if you use facelifted screen with pre-lifted glove box unit). 3V0919606 is a DISPLAY UNIT for Columbus glove box unit. 3V0919605A is a DISPLAY UNIT for Bolero glove box unit. If you have Bolero glove box unit and you replace your 6.5" display unit 3V0919605A with 8" display unit 3V0919606 everything will work but NAV and TRAFFIC buttons.
  7. The screens ARE interchangeable between different MIB2 glove box unit versions however MIB2.5 screens ()ctavia - 5E0919606D, Superb - 3V0919606D) require Columbus MIB2.5 units (5650350...). MIB3 units use different technologies (Ethernet instead of MOST, external GPS receiver) and should NOT be considered as a replacement to MIB1/MIB2/MIB2.5 unit. Octavia screens have different shape to Superb ones.
  8. @warlock87 check your PM for download link
  9. @RussellF you can try doing it by yourself, if doesn't help then you must find someone who has some dedicated tools, e.g. SetConfig.
  10. Yes - I will send you in the evening.
  11. @Tom360V you have download link on PM
  12. 1. Use SD, not pendrive 2. Start update from SERVICE menu, not from SETUP / SYSTEM INFORMATION
  13. Unfortunately I cannot help you 😞
  14. NAND in your unit is overloaded. Indeed reloading software may help, if not then NAND must be reformatted but this require special SW and HW tools.
  15. Need part number and current CW version
  16. Unfortunately, none of your wished is met with SW update - you must have the unit replaced. Pls contact me on PM if you are interested. As a reminder: - 5Q0035819 and 5Q0035820 units support MirrorLink only - 5Q0035819x and 5Q0035820x units do NOT support any of MirrorLink, Android Auto, Apple carPlay - none of mentioned above units supports Voice Control neither Rear View Camera All mentioned baove features are supported by 5Q0035840x, 565035840, 5Q0035842x and 565035842 units. x - letter A, B or C
  17. There is an update available (to 0138) but... is there anything wrong with 0135 that you want to update?
