  1. Before you start with UART I highly recommend to get in touch with someone having VCDS, OBD Eleven, VC Tool, Vag Can Pro or ODIS and check coding of your 5F unit.
  2. It could be two issues: Your unit has skin number coded that is not supported in the new firmware - do you have any diagnostics tool? Something went wrong - you have to enter emergency mode with MST2_EU_SK_P02xxT on SD inserted into one of teh slots (keep second slot empty), fo this you will need UART connected directly to QuadLock.
  3. Ad. 1 I don't have any update for your unit. Ad. 2 - yes, it is, fortunately in SWING units Bluetooth is NOT covered with FEC/SWaP codes so just removal of Component Protection and adding a microphone is enough.
  4. You car was manufactured in 2016 but it's MY17. Your trunk handle part number is 6V0827566. OEM part number of trunk handle with reverse camera is 6V0827566G so from the link you sent you need model F:
  5. I sent you PM with VIN request so I can check part number of your current traunk handle and let you know which camera to order.
  6. Of course it can be done differently, you don't have to use MIB STD2 Toolbox (I don't use it at all) - but it MUST be patched to go from 02xx or 03xx to 04xx, and for most of people, who are not familiar with QNX and software reverse engineering, MIB STD2 Toolbox is a great solution.
  7. Going from 02xx or 03xx to 04xx without patching the unit first is NOT possible.
  8. @asterixas I sent you link to zipped MST2_EU_SK_ZR_P0480T in PM, no password required to unzip.
  9. Problem new to me, try to run the firmware upgrade in Manual SWDL mode with "Select all" marked
  10. @KDQ I have just sent you link to MHI2_ER_SKG13_P4526 (1440) in PM. But reading your description I beleive this coudl also be battery issue - voltage might be going too low when starter is running.
  11. Enable developer mode in adaptation sof 5F unit with VCDS, OBD Eleven, ODIS, VCTool or any other tool. Install MIB STD2 Toolbox (be careful, you have firmware 02xx, there is some extra action you have to make, read toolbox manual for details). Patch swdownload from MIB STD2 Toolbox Modify metainfo2.txt file - change value of "RequiredVersion" rows to "0" Insert SD crad with 0480 firmware and modified metainfo2.txt Enter Service Mode - long press MENU button Select Manual SWDL Select all Deselect "Emergency" in both "cpu" and "main" Start uphgrade
  12. @jarkuu you have unit without eom sat nav so patching cannot be done from SD, only soldering path ☹️ @asterixas yes, you can, teh key is to install MIB STD2 Toolkit.
  13. Possible, there are several phones that can be paired. Pairing procedure is the same, check infotainment unit manual.
  14. Assuming you have Technisat unit, I sent you link to MST2_EU_VW_ZR_P0140T in PM
  15. @MathewJEH thx for info, I do appreciate it.
  16. @HEMTECO what i syour problem with your 3Q0035864?
  17. I can deliver MIB STD2 PQ unit, I have already sent you PM so you can share VIN.
  18. SKODA delaer can offer only unit replacement but if you are skilled enough to dismantle the unit, open it and disassemble then I can send you the BT module for replacement. Beleive me, it;s not a big deal. If you are arfraid you can find and electronics repair shop that can do it for you. I can do iyt also but as I am in Poland then it might be not very economical to send it to me for such simple repair (Brexit...)
  19. Then probably your BT module is broken. Where are you from?
  20. Do you have ignition switched ON? Bluetooth is available ONLY with ignition ON.
