  1. Just a guess, but RS has a fake sound activator on the left behind the rear bumber and all the fuzz could be caused by this.
  2. Not all of it, the back seats were folded as the tiles were 1200 cm long, but most of the weight was obviously in the boot. Didn`t expect it, as my previous Mondeo wagon took such a load without issues.
  3. As I said, the weight distribution is the key word. 5 adults are located between the axles. I loaded all the stuff to boot, behind the rear axle.
  4. Very silly to chuck about something you have no idea of. Some years ago loaded floor tiles into trunk, maybe 600 kg or something. New car. Drove to country house. At some point heard strange crack from the back. When arrived, discovered dents on both sides of the roof. The boot has moved and bent the body.
  5. What if martmap is planning a trip to Spain?
  6. Above and between axles is ok, behind the axle not more than 100 - 150 kg.
  7. Weight is not a problem, the distribution is. Whatever you do, do not load them into the boot. Fold back seats and try to place them on rear axle. Otherwise you risk to bend the body in rear.
  8. ACC and matrix both use front camera. I think retrofitters messed up with coding.
  9. Not 100% sure, but searching the internet you can find it. But it can be older version as well. Another thing is - skodaparts sells the whole solution, except you cannot install it on 2,0 diesel cars. Is 2021 RS petrol or diesel?
  10. Somewhere in the trunk there must be a sticker which has all the codes for the accessories installed in your car. Preinstalled tow bar harness has a code 1D7. You can find here some parts, if you couldn`t find that code: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-parts/kodiaq/tow.html https://www.kufatec.com/en/skoda/kodiaq/?p=1&o=1&n=12&f=146 https://www.carsystems.eu/swiveling-trailer-hitch-set,id4024.html
  11. Yes, you might be correct. However I have been towing constantly 2 tons trailer (loaded) with inertial brakes and it works just perfect, even during winter.
  12. That`s interesting. Way to make simple things complicated.
  13. So when cruising who the hell need brakes? I guess it uses rear breakes rather than front ones to adjust the speed.
  14. Adaptive cruise control is using lots of rear pads, pretty common case.
  15. Powered brakes? Usually trailers with brakes have inertial brakes which have nothing to do with the wiring.
  16. Do not know if that works, but usually all active sounds can be adjusted by left roll button on the steering wheel. That`s for MIB 2,5. Guess it goes for MIB 3 too.
  17. ESC (Electronic Stability Control) or ESP (Electronic Stability Program). Same thing, different names. Doesn`t allow you to drift, in simple words. With ESC in Sport mode on RS you can drift as much as you like. However, there might be a slight confusing detail. Superb 2 had also ESC Sport mode, but that one did not allow to drift (it is very popular here on frozen lakes). I activated ESC Off mode with VCDS back then, which allowed to drift without hassle. My butt feeling tells that ESC Off on Superb = ESC Sport on Kodiaq.
  18. One button push - ASR off. Long button press - Sport mode and all off. Afaik, RS is the only model with Sport mode for traction control and it should switch all the aids off, including ESP. Also personal subjective experience confirms it.
  19. Superb 2 had a very audible clunk from the back end. Kodiaq - haven`t heard much, as Haldex 5 should have 5% of the torque always on rear wheels. Next time you visit the dealer for maintenance, let them clean the Haldex filter. It`s not listed in the ordinary to do list. Over the time the filter gets really dirty and 4WD may easily turn into 2WD or 2,5WD. Happened to me.
  20. Again, not sure, but I think there was a topic here about iPhone and media gremlins. #me purely Android guy#
  21. Not sure, but are you using Android Auto? You probably are, newer cars have a wireless AA compability, even if you havent noticed it. There is an option in AA settings, something like "start playing media when connected".
  22. Finally found a solution to the pita. 19 CAN Gateway, long coding. Byte 9, untick bit 4. (may vary on different models, but the bit name is always the same.
  23. I believe it`s not tyre sensor as 2017 Kodiaq doesn`t have these, but an ABS sensor which counts wheel rotations and this way tells you if your tyre is pumped up or not.
  24. I had the gearbox mount changed for the VW one about a year ago. All the same symptoms as described. No help. Finally they discovered it was a flywheel. Some months ago I started to hear a stuck in the front. Dealer changed a steering rack and a ton of other parts, no luck. Accidentally they found out the whole front subframe was loose. Instead of tightening some bolts I got a bill for 2700 euros. So, beware the specialists.
  25. Same here. I just threw them into the rear door pocket.
