Air filter **** up
They have different part numbers, why would you expect them to be the same...? 😕 I'd send the wrong one back and buy the correct part 👍

Updating Columbus Maps with no SD slot! 2021 Superb (Scout)
Pretty sure you have a MK4 so map updates are over the air now I'll ask a mod to move your thread. edit: Sorry, MIB3 rather than MIB2/2.5. Still, maps are now OTA as I mentioned

Trip to france
The only reason you can't fit chains is a lack of inner clearance so they might hit various suspension components. Take a look at the Konig K-Summit chains K34 as they will fit 235/40 R19's and don't need any inner clearance There might be some other brands that offer something similar too...

Auto lights high beam assist useless
It's not the same sensor... Take a look at this: The part in red is the rain light sensor (RLS), this is used for auto wipers and auto low/dipped beams. Your Superb probably has this... The part in yellow is the high beam assist camera and is used for auto high/main beams, your Superb doesn't have this

From Swing To Columbus
Part of your problem is that the Swing is an 'all in one' unit, whereas, the Bolero, Amundsen and Columbus are all split in to the 'display' and 'brain', the latter is located above the glovebox. You'll need to extend the wiring from behind the screen to the glovebox and add a few extra wires to power/drive the display. You'll probably also need a new trim piece in around the glovebox too. Here's an example of the kind of wiring you'll need, other (cheaper?) sellers are available and this may not fit your car: https://eurozonetuning.com/products/quadralock-wiring-harness-for-discover-pro-retrofit To get it working properly, you'll need CP matching (a dealer can do this) and also the FeC/SWaP codes adding (a dealer cannot do this) so you'll need to look for hacked units where CP has been removed and all features have been activated. Might be worth asking @pab567 to see what he's got in stock

Auto lights high beam assist useless
That's because it was never a factory option and no superb left the factory with the correct hardware for auto high beams 😉 It is possible to retrofit a high beam assist camera but the rain light sensor is not capable of hba...

Plate Rear light coding via vcds
Welcome Why on earth would you want the number plate lights to blink with the indicators? It makes it look like the car has massive electrical issues! Anyway, as always, I'd suggest you start by posting a full autoscan from VCDS and an adaption map from 09...

Sat nav sd card
That looks like an Amundsen - you need a proper Skoda SD card rather than a 3rd party one

ACC calibration procedure with VCDS
The large top section with the black and white circles is for the visual lane assist camera. The lower white section is basically a metal plate, that's used for the ACC radar systems They just happen to be on the same rig.

ACC calibration procedure with VCDS
The calibration target looks like this, it's the bottom white bit that's used for ACC: I don't think it's a simple process though, this page might help: https://www.audi4ever.com/blog/eintrag/25254-acc-calibration-adaptive-cruise-control-a4-a5-q5-distronic/ Assuming your VCDS is genuine, it might be worth asking Rosstech with an autoscan of your vehicle Random youtube clip for a 3rd party tool:

Clock on virtual cockpit
I guess the answer is yes, you can see the clock on the VC. However, it will depend on which view you use and if you have TSR set to show in a side panel or not Just for example:

Wiring diagram for a 2015 Octavia RS with Harman MIB II Main Unit
No obvious source for a remote wire, the headunit isn't linked to the switched ignition so you might get 'booms' occasionally. If you're lucky, the amp might be able to turn on/off when it detects signa. If not, there are plenty of high to low level adaptors which create a remote signal when they detect audio.

Wiring diagram for a 2015 Octavia RS with Harman MIB II Main Unit
It's a standard Skoda/VW spec 52 pin quadlock so the pinout will be similar to this image: What wires are you trying to find? As you have Canton fitted, all the speakers will be connected to the Canton amp (under a front seat?) rather via the quadlock. Audio is transfer from the headunit to the amp via the optical MOST fibre which is why the speaker connections are empty in your picture There is no 'remote' cable either as the amp will be CAN-bus controlled.

Coding for Retrofit mirrors
I think it's a full kit. The main wire will go between the rear view mirror and both doors. The two smaller wires will go inside the door between the door loom connector and door controller. I think you get some instructions from Kufatec once you've bought it.

Diagnostic error message
I don't think the CAN gateway was inactive... If it was you wouldn't be able to read any codes from it and the car would have loads of waring lights/errors showing. It's more likely to be an intermittent fault so when the scan was done, it saying the fault has happened previously but is currently fine. Therefore it's reporting the fault as 'inactive'. I think VCDS would report this as: 66052 - Infotainment CAN Bus (SAE Bus E) U0065 00 [008] - Performance [Globaler Timeout CAN-Infotainment] Intermittent - Confirmed - Tested Since Memory Clear Which suggests a module on the infotainment CAN bus wasn't happy for some reason, that could be a wiring issue, loose connector or even a failing module. I'd probably clear the code and see if it comes back

Coding for Retrofit mirrors
This looks about right: https://www.kufatec.com/en/light-sight/exterior-mirrors/cable-set-automatically-dimming-outside-mirrors-for-audi-skoda-vw-mqb-44164 I'd suggest you contact them to confirm it's correct for your vehicle before buying

Coding for Retrofit mirrors
Not much, two wires from the rear view mirror to each wing mirror via the door loom and door controller. Example WD (which is probably correct for your car) below which I've added light green squares to help you see the correct wires:

Coding for Retrofit mirrors
There is a control module inside each of your front doors, this is where the wing mirror connector attaches to. There are a few different control module variants so depending which is currently fitted, you might need to replace them You might want to read this post: Until you know which door controllers you have, I wouldn't bother fitting the mirrors as it's easier to replace the control module at the same time if needed. An autoscan from VCDS or similar will confirm which control modules are fitted, for example my 2018 vRS with folding mirrors has: Address 42: Door Elect, Driver (J386) Labels:| 5QX-959-X93-42.clb Part No SW: 5Q4 959 593 E HW: 5Q4 959 593 B Address 52: Door Elect, Pass. (J387) Labels:| 5QX-959-X92-52.clb Part No SW: 5Q4 959 592 E HW: 5Q4 959 592 B

Coding for Retrofit mirrors
Have you got an autoscan and adaption maps for how the car is currently set up? If you want the dimming to work, I'm pretty sure you'll need to add some wiring. For just folding, I don't believe you'll need any extra. You might also need new door controllers if you've not already checked if they support folding mirrors...

VCDS Diagnostic Service in Exeter area
You probably want to get yourself added to the VCDS owners list and map: - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/262215-list-of-vcds-owners-previously-known-as-vag-com-vcp-owners/ - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/224376-vcds-owners-map/ That way, if other local members are looking for a few VCDS tweaks or a diagnostic scan, they'll be able to find you more easily I've used VCDS for a few years now, mostly for retrofits/tweaks on friends, briskoda members and my own vehicles. What's possible will depend on which platform the car is based and what modules are fitted - it's down to you or the person asking for help to have done some research for a particular car/configuration. There are plenty of guides online My only real advice is to take backups first and not touch anything potentially irreversible, for example, byte 18 on PQ35 cars or speed limiters...

Headlight bulb clips required.
If the dealer says they come with the loom, they probably do I'm afraid. The aftermarket clips will probably be fine, just make sure the crimps that hold onto the bulb are in good condition and snug. The connector shouldn't need the extra strength of attaching to the clip

What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
The approvals apply to certain makes/models: https://dammedia.osram.info/media/resource/hires/osram-dam-22090835/LED Night Breaker H7 Vehicle List (EN).pdf At the moment, the only Skoda's listed are: That's not to say the Superb won't be added in the future, only that it's currently not approved for the LED conversion

new head lights
Might be worth posting an autoscan along with an adaption map from 09 so we can see how your car is configured

Coolant temperature sensors
I'd agree with the above, there is only one sensor. The ECU looks like it supports a second sensor depending on which engine it's being used on. The two apps handle missing/unviable sensors in very different ways hence the two (difference) nonsense readings. The temperature gauge uses the same sensor has as the engine. However, it doesn't display the true value, instead it will show a steady 90'C whenever the temperature is between about 75'C and 105'C While the gauge points at 90'C, the car is considered to be running within the normal operating range
