While I'm sure many of the springs Carlston posted will fit, I don't don't know enough about suspension and how the spring spec will effect the ride/handling to recommend any of them. Given you can get factory lowered suspension designed/tested specifically for each weight range/PR codes, that seems the obvious option to me Not much more I can add so I'll bow out for now

The manual and menus won't be country specific. I expect the map data is missing for Italy which is causing the issue. It might work if you were to drive into France or another country

That doesn't mean the springs are cross-compatible or suitable... From the two links you posted, all the torsion beam springs are 5Q0 511 121 xx and the IRS springs are 5Q0 511 111 xx. If VAG could use identical springs for both (and save money), they would have and the part numbers would match

If you look at the Bilstein online catalogue, it lists different parts for multilink and torsion beam suspension so I'd say they aren't compatible

Yup, the mic will still work with A6 removed. Basically some cars have a separate module for the mic. The MK2 Octavia doesn't as the mic is either connected to the BT module or radio. This might also be the reason for the mic open circuit code you have Removing A6 from the installation list should resolve the 'cannot be reached' errors shown in your scan.

Your BCM is already a highline so there should be no need to replace it I would try ticking: - 09 BCM, byte 9, bit 3 It should be 'Multi-Function-Display/Board Computer via Operation and Display Protocol (BAP) active' looking at my notes. While your connected, I'd would also suggest: - 19 CAN gateway, installation list, remove A6 Microphone - Clear all DTC's Hopefully that'll just leave the alarm siren and the radio (DAB, mic, aux in) fault codes present.

There are two separate recalls. The first is part of the emissions scandal. Basically VAG were caught emitting more NOx than they were suppose to and produced a software update to reduce the NOx production. To do this, they've changed the fuelling and EGR usage. This has various negatives including but not limited to: - possible increased fuel usage - possible drivability changes - EGR issues due to partially clogged EGR that are now being asked to move more - DPF issues as reducing NOx production increases particulates and mean the DPF needs to regen more often These are some of the reasons that people (including myself) refused the optional software update. It has no effect on the MOT as the NOx levels aren't tested. The second recall is to either update the BCM software or tweak the lighting configuration. I believe the issue is that some LED bulb failures aren't causing a bulb out warning like they should. It would probably be possible to confirm what the second fix does if I had access to the same car before and after the recall action. They should be able to only perform the second update but you'll need to get it in writing so you can hold them to account if they do both.

If both steering wheels are from a MK3 Superb and you already have a MFSW, it should work AFAIK. If you're trying to fit a MK3 Superb wheel in a MK2 Superb, the buttons are incompatible.

In which case, the first problem is getting the CAN-gateway to communicate in the car. As you've seen it doesn't take much to talk to the CAN-gateway so I'd try: - checking the twisted pair between the CAN-gateway and OBD port - checking the grounds at both - checking the power is on all the necessary pins At a guess, it'll be a permanent or switched live that's not getting power so the CAN-gateway or HEX-CAN aren't powering up properly.

@Danoid - the OP seems to be complaining the lights aren't dimming rather than wanting to stop them doing so Anyway, I'd take a look at static AFS light-Abdimmgeschwindigkeit - mine are set to 25.

289 miles on 39 litres is ~33.7 mpg 330 miles on 39 litres is ~38.5 mpg To put that into context, the worse/best from a single tank in my vRS is 33.0 vs 41.95 mpg so its certainly within single tank variance. Might be worth measuring a few more tanks to confirm the fuel usage Also you should bare in mind that: - A to E rated tyres can change fuel usage by up to 5% (A to G is upto 7.5%) - Used (2mm tread) to new (8mm tread) will effect the odometer by ~2% - Not all 225/45 R17 tyres are even the same size which will effect the odometer The reason I mention the tyre size is because a larger tyre will make the car think it's covered less distance and mess up your calculation by making it appear low. A combination of the above factors can easily cause extra fuel use and also make the reported mileage seem to drop giving a large difference

You can have front assist without adaptive cruise control - which is what I expect the OP has. Unfortunately, if you do only have front assist, the radar unit fitted is very unlikely to support ACC

Modified cars will always put some people off as they are more difficult to insure assuming you declare them. The mods you've made might not be to the taste of your potential buyers. I'm not saying people don't like them but if you want to maximise your target market, removing some of the mods will probably help

Might be worth tweaking the additional DRL bumper lights to make them road legal? Pretty sure you can't show a blue light so I'd suggest either making them white on driving or disabling/removing them At least that way if the new owner has issues due to them, it's down to them

I think it was Android only to start as the dongle only supported Bluetooth. They released a newer dongle with WiFi so iOS devices could use it too. The op screenshot certainly looks like iOS and when I checked the Android store on my phone running Android 11 it showed 0.35.

Android and iPhone have different app versions. At a guess you're on Android and the op is on iOS 😉
