  1. Picture attached albeit from a Tiguan as I couldn’t find a Kodiaq, but eco symbol is exactly the same and in the same position on the Kodiaq. Mine goes into 2 cyl mode regularly and surprisingly even after a cold start. I’ve never seen any leaf’s , but I’ve only ever used Normal or Sport mode using the gear selector, never used Economy mode or any other mode using the mode button.
  2. ACT should occur on a light throttle at any speed on a flat road. The eco symbol is at the top of the virtual cockpit dash, perhaps you’ve missed it. The car should also coast with no gear engaged when you lift off the throttle, indicated by the gear symbol only having the D with no gear number.
  3. Mirror dip in the UK requires the knob on the drivers door to be selected to L. RE reverse camera check that protective plastic film has been removed from camera lens, or it could just be a poor aftermarket camera has been fitted.
  4. Technology has moved on a lot from 8 years ago.
  5. Think you’ll find modern ac systems only have a marginal effect on fuel economy. With every car I’ve had with climate control I’ve set the temp at 20° ac on and auto and never had the need to touch the control again. The benefit being at a comfortable temp, and no steamed up windows in the cooler months far outweigh the minimal amount of fuel used.
  6. Heated windscreen button would be the blank above the menu button. No button = no heated windscreen.
  7. What type of battery does your car have. If it is an AGM stop/start battery then you should be using the agm setting on your charger. Secondly are you connecting the -ve lead from the charger to the earth point on the bulkhead as per owner manual and not to the battery, as this can cause problems. I would unplug the usb wireless charger when not in use.
  8. The random rear wipe also occurs on the Kodiaq and the only way to stop it is to untick the rear wipe on reverse option, maybe Octavia is the same.
  9. On the bright side it’s probably a good thing the front sensor is impaired with snow, as you really don’t want the front assist slamming on the brakes unexpectedly when driving on snow.

You really need to update your VCDS to the latest version VCDS 23.3.1
  11. According to watching YouTube video, you’ve got to pump in 6.5 litres of oil then run engine and operate gearbox through gears and then get gearbox to 35°C and then allow the excess oil to drain out of the gearbox. There is a plastic tube in the filler/ drain that allows the correct level, and when the oil stops coming out, drain plug is replaced.

  14. It appears that a 6.0J x16 ET 35 wheel with a 195/60 16 tyre is the correct spare wheel size. Kit with correct size wheel, jack, wheel brace and polystyrene insert etc is around £240.
  15. Google RNS510 map update dvd, plenty available. V17 appears to be the latest update.
  16. I presume you mean the My Skoda app, mine is working
  17. The C appears to be for LHD cars and the H for RHD. https://www.skoda-parts.com/katalog/kodiaq/spare-parts/body/front-body/headlight-298.html?sort=expensive
  18. You could always try the “ internet “ DSG reset that some say works, and it’s free….. Turn on the ignition ( do not start engine) Press accelerator pedal fully down and keep down for 20 seconds Release pedal and start car as normal.
  19. What engine? No such problem with my 1.5 tsi.
  20. Looking at the info supplied in the previous posts, your car appears to require wheels with 5/100 pcd , the space saver 1K0601027F appears to have a pcd of 5/112 so apart from the tyre being totally wrong for your application, the wheel won’t fit anyway.
  21. Can you not book a test drive at a dealer and see if it fits the garage yourself?
