  1. I’d be more worried about who has the other key.
  2. Is it available in 45 gallon drums for underside of that Yeti
  3. There should be an option to untick gesture in the display menu.
  4. Signal strength and battery charge level of attached mobile.
  5. Exactly, if it’s fine in the bigger Kodiaq, it’s going to be more than fine in a Karoq.
  6. Do you have KESSY?
  7. I previously had a 2.0 Tsi 180 4x4 Kodiaq and went through the same dilemma when choosing my second Kodiaq. The things that swayed my decision were, the price of the 2.0 Tsi with options I wanted would take the price over £40k which would incur the £500 annual VED, and it looks like the Karoq Sportline could be the same. Secondly I put great thought into do I really need 4x4 having suffered Haldex failure in my previous Kodiaq, the cost of extra maintenance and the extra fuel required to hump around the extra weight of the bigger engine and 4x4 system ( which is equivalent to carrying two people around), and as I already used winter wheels/ tyres during the winter, I decided to go for the 1.5 Tsi 2WD option. All I can say I’ve not been disappointed, the 1.5 copes admirably even when loaded with grandkids and all their paraphernalia, and regularly achieves 40+ mpg using Tesco momentum 99 E5.
  8. Didn’t know the 1.5 Tsi was now available as a mild hybrid, thought only the 1.0 Tsi 3 pot was available with this.
  9. Every car I’ve had with climate I’ve set it to 19/20° a/c on and on auto 24/7 365, never had any need to put on lo, or make any changes to temp at all.
  10. It’s anything but a sealed system and auto a/c systems are well documented as to loosing up to 10% of the gas annually, through pump seals, o ring seals and rubber hoses.
  11. If you click on the screen that is showing unlocked, another screen appears with a refresh button top right, after it refreshes it will show true locked/ unlocked status.
  12. If you’re looking to achieve 40mpg your choices are most likely to be Diesel or the 1.5 TSI that will achieve the mpg you’re looking for.
  13. Do you not get the FWD Kodiaq in Sweden?
  14. Update on this. I ended up buying a Skoda rear wiper blade. On inspection of the old blade, the wiper rubber can be extracted quite easily from the end. I then removed the 280mm rubber from a new Bosch yeti blade I had lying, and with a bit washing up liquid to help inserted it in the Kodiaq blade. Wish I had thought of this earlier, but there you go, if you don’t want to pay Skoda prices , just buy a Bosch Yeti rear blade and replace the rubber in your Kodiaq blade.
  15. As above it is not a tick sign, it is an icon of a garage fuel pump and an arrow informing you what side the filler flap is on. When the fuel level gets low you should get a warning of how many predicted miles till you run out of fuel, and instructions to where nearest fuel station is.
  16. Are you sure it’s not the garage fuel dispenser and the arrow showing what side the fuel filler is on icon.
  17. The car will stop, somewhat abruptly. If you’re willing to try it, make sure you have your brown trousers on
  18. With the direct tpms the display shows the current tyre pressure and the recommended pressure in brackets. No need to reset as in previous indirect tpms.
  19. Sounds like you’re turning the autohold off and not the stop start. To be fair they do look similar.
  20. Pressing the lock button on the remote twice disables the alarm and also the deadlocks.
  21. According to the brochure, it looks like it is now part of the Travel assist package at £950.
  22. As above, if you gave details on what type of lights your yeti has, xenon or halogen, and a location, might make answering your question easier. Anyway from Googling, found this.., assuming you have halogen lights.
  23. On the Kodiaq you have to un-tick the rear wipe when reverse selected option to stop the annoying rear wiper operating intermittently on a mostly dry rear window. It’s easy enough to flick the rear wiper as and when required. Not sure if Octavia is the same, but worth a look.
