  1. Skoda standard fit wiper blades are notorious rubbish, best getting yourself a set of Bosch Aerotwin wiper blades. How to put wipers in maintenance position, from owners manual….
  2. As new Kamiq delivery due soon price reduced on my Kodiaq winter wheels, and photo added showing that they are almost same overall diameter as standard Sportline 20” wheels. Advert in Wheels & Tyres For Sale section.
  3. Photo showing wheel size almost same size as standard fit 20” wheel on my Sportline. And extra bare tyre
  4. If you press and hold the unlock button on remote windows and sunroof will open, obviously something pressed button in your pocket.
  5. I fully agree if you are planning on keeping the car past year 3. I have taken the manufacturer extended warranty previously, and on my current Kodiaq, which is just over 2 years old, but change in circumstances means I no longer need 7 seater big car so downsizing to a Kamiq, so I believe next owner will benefit from extended warranty at my expense.
  6. Thinking about taking all in package when manufacturers warranty ends.
  7. I just asked my dealer this week what if any speed limit system would be fitted to the Kamiq I have on order. Answer was that it is just the warning and that it can be turned off at each start up same as lane assist.
  8. In case anyone is interested, I ordered on 6th May and informed today car has been built and in transit to port.

It does if you click on the vehicle status
  10. I agree, I have the DQ381 in my current Kodiaq and it coasts in D and E but definitely doesn’t in Sport or manual.
  11. The latest Kamiq doesn’t show gear numbers in D or E only shows in Manual or Sport modes.
  12. The display under vehicle status should give you a pictogram of what the problem is.
  13. I believe the Kamiq Monte Carlo has the same sports seats as the Scala.
  14. My son used the not quite correct 7x16 et 45 winter wheels with 215x60 tyres that I had for my Yeti on his Karoq when he had it, with no problems.
  15. Also could be a stone or similar that’s entered the rear heating ducts under the front seats.
  16. Fitted any accessories or LED lamps lately?
  17. Yes I know we’ve not even had summer yet, but due to no longer requiring a 7 seater we’re downsizing to a Kamiq, so my Kodiaq 17” winter wheels are for sale in the Wheels & Tyres For Sale section.
  18. 4 off 17” alloys fitted with 215 65 17 Nokian WR SUV Winter tyres. These are the correct size for Kodiaq and fit over the 340 mm brake discs they also have the sensor valves for the direct TPMS. Overall size is almost same as 20” wheel that were fitted to my Sportline. Looking for £200 buyer collects only.
  19. Sorry typo, but figure is correct tyres are 40 mm larger in diameter.
  20. 245x45 19” tyres are 40 mm larger in overall diameter than your 225x45 19”.
  21. Placed an order for a Kamiq Monte Carlo and was quoted 20 weeks, just wondering if anyone has ordered and have build/ delivery dates, or indeed received their new Kamiq lately, just to gauge if 20 weeks is realistic or if it’s likely to be longer.
  22. 235x45 20 are the correct and approved size and will be shown on back of fuel filler flap.
  23. I believe the air con goes into recirculate mode when reverse is selected to avoid exhaust fumes being drawn into cabin. Does selecting recirculating mode produce same noise, if so could just be sticking air distribution flap.

Not much good after the event, but if you had phoned Skoda Assist they would have fixed it , replaced the battery, or taken the car to dealer and provided a loan car. Do you have a dash cam or anything plugged into the 12V power sockets, as these are permanently live and well documented for draining battery if something inadvertently left plugged in.
