  1. It’s free for the first year, why not sign up, see if you use it or find it useful and make up your own mind as to whether it’s worth paying for in the future.
  2. Kenny R replied to EMike's topic in Škoda Kamiq
Fly, spider or other being picked up by internal sensors. You could press the lock button twice to turn off internal monitoring till you find culprit.
  3. Light switch in the auto position, and appropriate options ticked in the lighting menu.
  4. Yes, the Kodiaq has the Haldex gen 5 , that’s why I posted that link.
  5. Try shoogling the car whilst looking at the level you may see the fluid moving.

  7. As you’ve found WD40 is absolutely useless as a dismantling fluid. Plus gas is much better option.
  8. According to the 2020 brochure the SE came with Bolero radio. The Amundsen sat nav was a £375 option.
  9. Also be very careful not to disturb the front assist radar unit. Recalibration will be required if you do.
  10. From the workshop manuals in the Kodiaq Guides section on here…
  11. Both Kodiaq’s I’ve had had the same random rear wipe when it was raining, and more often than not, wiping a dry rear screen resulting in a screech. The only way to stop the rear wiper doing this on the Kodiaq is to untick the rear wipe when reversing option. It just means you have to flick the rear wipe as and when required. I would imagine the Superb is similar.
  12. You asked the question “where did you get that info”
  13. There is a vin plate on the lower drivers side B pillar. If the plate shows towing weight as zero then a towbar should not be fitted.
  14. Rocking the car might burp out an air lock if that’s what it is.
  15. It’s easy enough to change the pollen filter yourself, and use an air con bomb to sanitise the system.
  16. The above plate is mounted at the bottom of the B pillar drivers door. If the towing weight is shown as 0 then no one can legally fit a towbar.
  17. Top right of centre will be a circle with a number in it, indicating how many notification’s you have regarding updates. Top centre of the screen there is a bar that appears, drag this down and and this will show you any updates that are pending, or completed. It most probably has updated when car was stopped.
  18. Not strictly true, see post #2 above.
  19. The valve stems for the sensors are a serviceable item and are available separately. The Huf tyre pressure sensors I had to buy for my winter wheels, as my new Kodiaq has the direct TPMS , came with the valve parts separately and had to be assembled when fitting.
  20. As above, use the key located in the fob to open the door and place key next to start/ stop button as per the instructions in the owners manual.
  21. Perhaps a result of the tow ball weight and the Haldex not driving the rear wheels is the reason for the front wheel spinning. Has the Haldex oil and filter maintenance been done as per schedule and should have been done at least twice by now.
  22. No matter what replacement battery you end up deciding on, and especially if you change from efb to agm make sure you get it coded correctly.
  23. A quick Google of Elsapro returns that it is the VW dealers portal.
  24. Haldex oil change and pump filter change/ clean depending on which version of Haldex you have is scheduled at every 3 years, but ideally should be done sooner as filter chokes up and causes damage to pump/ motor. The pump filter mesh was choked similar to the picture at 3rd service 7k miles on my previous Kodiaq and the pump/ motor failed shortly after, but luckily was covered by warranty. Attached chart shows time/mileage service item required.
  25. I’m the same as Routmaster, I leave mine at 19° C , a/c on and auto all the time. If it’s hot outside the system will provide maximum cooling till desired temperature is reached and maintain a comfortable temperature.
