Intermittent 12V Low Battery warning
That sort of load can give some indication but is not usually high enough to be conclusive - a high load test will be in the region of 50 to 100 Amps minimum - measuring the battery terminal voltage while the engine is being cranked can give a fair idea of condition, but is limited to a short duration test unless the engine is prevented from starting.

Car jerking during heavy rain
Another thought - is this happening when hitting deep standing water on one side?

upgrade components for torque & towing capacity
Was it the complete engine and gearbox that was swapped? Unlikely that your gearbox issue has anything to do with the stated 'Nil Towing' capacity unless the engine (or gearbox) was overheating, which would also seen unlikely with such a small trailer. The 'Nil Towing' capacity will have simply been an Homologation requirement not fulfilled at the time of manufacture.

Octavia MK2 2011 Rear Fog Light for EU driving problem - I know its an old problem, but I can't find a solution anywhere.
There is probably an option in the BCM to allow twin rear fog lights, as I believe that this is a standard requirement in some countries. If present, enabling this would allow both lamps to operate without flagging an error. I've always thought fitting a single rear fog light rather poor - apart from cost, the only positive factor I can see is minimising unnecessary rearward glare when lights are misused - which misuse should be policed a lot more.

Buying advice: First car, Octavia estate.
Hello, welcome to the forum. You probably wouldn't see any significant difference in running costs between either fuel with your projected use, I'm rather biased towards the 1.4TSI because that's what I've had since 2015. Anything from around 2019 - 2021 will probably have had the cambelt replaced already, following incorrect advice from Skoda UK - that service item is significantly more expensive with the 1.5TSI. I've always thought it a little odd that the 1.5TSI engine should have exactly the same power output as the 1.4.

Kamiq 1.5 Petrol starting issue
Hello, welcome to the forum. Sorry that your wife has run into a problem. Engine starting, then stopping almost immediately can indicate immobiliser operation - but AFAIK would not prevent the starter from cranking the engine. That symptom might indicate a bad connection on the starter circuit. Hope they sort it quickly for her.

“Towbar Preparation “
Possibly not that one - I'd expect factory towbar prep to incorporate a multi-pin socket and a Can bus module, that loom is possibly tail light wiring or rear parking sensors.

EPC Engine warning light
Is that rev limit while driving in gear? There is a rev-limiter that operates while vehicle is in neutral.

EPC Engine warning light
SWMBOs Fabia (CHZC) had a similar issue with the MIL and EPC warnings, with turbo actuator fault code logged - fixed with a replacement actuator arm kit. The DTC I read on my own OBD device was P003A, the garage device read P334B00 code.

EPC Engine warning light
Hello, welcome to the forum. Does your vehicle go into limp mode when the EPC lights up? Are there any other fault lights? You will need to get the vehicle scanned for any faults (DTCs) recorded. There is no point in trying to guess what might be causing the warning light to appear.
