  1. 2009 owners manual attached fabia_2009.pdf
  2. If you look at the first number, thats a Bosch part number, it's a Bosch sensor which will be IDENTICAL to the Skoda supplied part but cheaper. heres one at £50 posted. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172740350985
  3. Well, that's a bigger question than it may seem. The Aux port seems to have been an option, so "potentially" your car has the wiring as part of the loom, just not the socket. So before we go any further, you would need to determine if the plug / associated wiring "may" already be under the centre console, "if" it is, then great you could just buy the socket and install. "if" the wiring is not there, then you would need to buy the socket, the relevant connector, pins and then make a loom to conenct to the back of the radio, which is a job for someone experienced with car audio / car electrics. This shows the socket and the associated conenctor.... https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5j00354759b9-aux-in-plug-19413.html
  4. So did you just remove the sensor, or the sensor and pipes ? If you only cleaned the sensor, the pipes would still be connected to the exhaust no ? It's a differential pressure sensor, so if you can see where one pipe connects, the other should be the other "side or end" . Heres an image fromt he manual that should help....
  5. Here it is in my vRS, I would "assume" it's in the same place in all if fitted. You may just have the swing radio, but no aux port. Probably easy enough to add one.
  6. check this auction, he seemsto be able to sell what you need via you sending a piccy.. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114997329649?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D239486%26meid%3Db7ae12fd91ed43a89f09f53255a80355%26pid%3D101195%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D115033366604%26itm%3D114997329649%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv11WebTrimmedV3MskuWithRevOptLambda90KnnRecallV1&_trksid=p2047675.c101195.m1851&amdata=cksum%3A114997329649b7ae12fd91ed43a89f09f53255a80355|enc%3AAQAHAAABEPZqctS1aW2Gn1fMafrLrPa7%2BqLD2Pgo5GTgCDTJgIpBMBHaBHcFvdVGNBWeIytK8U7x8RargP9Bv5VZgW5ZIFNPamQeU110%2BO%2B3VDCJQPEDo7Ylqg%2BPQghQB%2BmNoHc%2BexX7nU27TYtkURUnZxseBgUQ4o2TH8pvwK9xlJXtlXCHVtHPv1j1bm3K61mLsRglT0s%2B9n9ivyXz6lZry4j1TjsoZiKJK9ejHtWH%2Fefhu1szJFs3ZRCaomBafn5rs8GIBCYor8uuIoSe2Hdp%2BeRCmes7dzZy7g3MNWGvs1Dt3N%2BKc0QCcKVzLinBukAi8QuyI8vE6hpxVOAm9r0mV173HNa%2B2BVfMUqA22Sa4B7glnn%2F|ampid%3APL_CLK|clp%3A2047675

  8. I assume when you mention greenline spoiler, you mean the "larger" more full one.. like below Part number for that is 5J6827933 The estate seemed to have the same as all the others to be honest
  9. Don't see anything wrong with the spoiler already on it..................on the flip side................. what is it with fitting tyres to narrow for the wheels....................I just don't get it, think it looks terrible................sure makes the curb protection band on the tyres a bit useless 😆
  10. have the battery and charging system checked first..
  11. fit a vRS one instead ? Fabia sport Roof spolier part Number google................. FAA 710 002
  12. def black version for Monte carlo. One below........ https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/394116606001?hash=item5bc32e2831:g:4rAAAOSwHPViqZfi&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAA4OrhSzx27Xym%2BO9ewX%2B5x2YH4o9q%2FnY%2BsZluZ91opdo3UL7Ajram6wwB0P9DTGJk1wwD7WgosWXEVpNJ0lHes4k%2FTY%2FpRc6Vkop1Og6Rf0sML0k38I8M8FWpxi7aywHz5babgeC3RKw51dfLx722cAl6F%2BwrBt9AFcxUfdF3FI%2F20cLJ9O2UaFPshmFCVx2FLYvOy35gmCL6AjeOEmqKrO9DcR%2FXmK7ghP8sLoblMkd2xyZu36xngfsIwOdsfQ59jkDfutB2fSfR1tK1SIJWtT1scI6eaPOZ6tHma1W47RZD|tkp%3ABFBMiNyJ-q5g
  13. With ANY connector on a modern car, because the plug has a rubber moisture seal, there is always a little "pressure" when connected as its compressing the seal, so whenever your trying to remove the plug, "push the plug ON first, then push the tab (which you have arrowed), then it will come off"
  14. 100% You have paid and done the deed now, but heres the info you asked about regarding the replacement of the motors (from Skoda workshop manual)
  15. The OEM manufacturer is Visteon, well thats the name on the inside of the cluster, but I doubt you will be able to source one from them.
  16. agreed 100% and no replacing the motors is easy, although you do have to remove the headlamps to do it. I would love to know "how" they know they are receiving power...........did they disconnect the headlamp plugs, check and route the loom to see, then test with a multimeter to see if there is power there........all on a MOT test OR did they diagnose it on your authority ? On the flip side, You don't even need / require working headlamp levelling, if they are not working the headlamps can be adjusted to meet requirements, takes 2 mins, job done. If the garage is incapable of doing this task for a small fee, then they should not even be MOT'ing vehicles. Part number for the motors is 5j0941295 Even from a dealer, would be approx £40 ish with vat each, maybe less. Where in the UK are you located ? If your local to me (derbyshire) I would happily assist in fitting new motors (if actually required) etc for nout, I cannot stand garages that try rip people off !!!
  17. Did I not say it was a door wiring issue ? 😛 So, its all fully working as it should now ? I have not fully followed what your last post said.
  18. the fact you mentioned broken wires in the door pillar, thats where I would be looking further for more broken wires.
  19. no need for any apology, I was just posting the info so people know.
  20. ok, so after watching that (good video) to me the fault still lies within the drivers door wiring somewhere. Did it do this BEFORE door loom work was carried out ? For anything to be affected by locking (pressing the switch) that all comes / is controlled by the master door look / unit in the drivers door, it is to much of a coincidence that the door illumination (window switches) and dash lights flash when the door lock is pressed. Was the loom repaired, or replaced ? or BOTH I noticed also that the heated window switch and headlight range switch were not illuminated, these are fed from FUSE 35. PS multiple quick succession presses of the door locking system will shut it down for a few mins, this is common on lots of cars and is a normal way the car protects the circuits from overloading.
  21. Well, it is not uncommon for VAG cars to say one thing on a fuse and it do something entirely different......however, that fuse for what ever reason should not be blown, so it needs replacing first to carry on the diagnosis. According to another edition of the owners manual, fitting / removing that fuse disables the daytime running lights, so the fact its blown anyway says it might not be the case. Get some fuses from halfords, or petrol station, fit the correct size / rating (by colour) and go from there, "if" it blows as soon as you fit one, then there is a fault / direct short to ground and further investigation required.
  22. next thing to try......... In the interior fusebox (one by knees) REMOVE fuse 35.
  23. in this part of the video, the illumination on the stereo "seems" to be on "before" you press the unlock dash switch....... What happens regarding interior illumination when you unlock the car...DO NOT put key in, just flick lights to position 1 ?
  24. so have you tried the second paragraph posted above ? I would suggest the lock issue is a seperate one, the lights seem to be behaving as per the manual section posted.
  25. yes it is, diagram attached.............the REF T6I referes to the six pin connection which you will find inside the left hand boot trim panel.
