  1. I can vouch for Tayna, used them for years.
  2. my guess would be you need a new / replacement drivers door window motor as thats the "master"
  3. do you mean the hose arrowed ?? if so the part number is on it 6Q0 121 086 https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6q0121086s-water-hose-18804.html
  4. RCD330 is an aftermarket radio, could be fitted in any car to be honest.
  5. disconnect radiator bottom hose, you'll never get all of it out as some is always sat in the block etc.
  6. The aerial adapter would def improve the reception for the radio....nothing to do with powering off. the powering off issue is the wiring is slightly different between the radios. Its most likely the +12v ignition / permanent lives are different. Need to know exactly what year the vehicle is to potentially look at the pin outs on the radio and see where the difference is.
  7. the part number of the connector is 1K0972704E https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/1k0972704c-flat-contact-housing-4-pin-30873.html It won't come with wires unless you buy a used one cut from a vehicle loom. whats wrong with the connector ?
  8. you will only need a new boot. part number 6Q0 498 203 https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/6q0498203a
  9. yes that is a fuel hose. There is a quick release coupler just below the rubber "anti chafe" collar (see it in piccy) , the engine end is obviously a standard factory quick clip. What engine is it ?
  10. jeez.............this place.
  11. thats your choice, your entitled to that, but don't wash over facts because you disagree with them.
  12. Absolute rubbish. The age thing came in because of deaths caused by aged tyres, it was pursued through the courts by a parent of one of the unfortunate victims killed in a coach crash due to loosing control, it took several years to get into law and after extensive testing it was found tyres deteriorate over time, does not matter if they are kept in the dark, that affects the rubber side of the tyre, not the steel in the structure. And as usual you like to spout your safety police lines. I posted the information, for precisley that reason, information and never once said "dont fit your spare as it will blow up" coz of it's age. You telling people to ignore tyre age is dam right irresponsible.
  13. Steered axle 😉
  14. If anyone was wondering, it is 15 years old. Just for info Being stored in the dark stops the rubber being affected by ultra violet light / sunlight / weather etc, but doesn't stop the potential corrosion "inside" the structure of the tyre. This is why tyres over 10 years old are now banned on HGV's and PSV's irrespective if they are new or used.
  15. Windows CE is terrible !!..............
  16. it is 1 piece. fixed window, channel and full seal. example........... https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/5j6845210ak-rear-right-fixed-window-21315.html and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203841910512?hash=item2f75ecb6f0:g:XOcAAOSw0uViFq1r
  17. the condensation sounds lik a clue, although you have swapped the control units, did you have a GOOD look at the associated plugs / wiring as moisture ingress / corrosion would affect those primarily. Also corrosion on the OBD plug itself could be a possible reason that connection to the vehicle diagnostically was an issue. on a side note your charging system / battery sounds fine, so that can be ruled out. What error codes are you actually getting ?
  18. If you do buy electric rear doors, you can wire them up if you know what your doing, I have retro fitted rear elecy windows into mine. Only 3 wires need to be added up to the B pillar plug / connector on each side.
  19. Sounds either like water ingress into the body control unit............OR potentially a failing electrical supply / charging system. Is the battery good ? voltage ? has the charging system been checked ?
  20. Well as mentioned, I think ideally it needs to be plugged into diagnosis, so all the flaps and controls can be checked and operated. It's possible it's the contol panel itself as well. This is not the aircon working or not working, your AC is working, it's the distribution of the airflow thats not functioning correctly, probably down to one of the motors which control the flap on the climatronic system. Has it been like this since you bought it, or is it a recent thing ?
  21. Ok, So after watching that - Your fan / blower seems to be working fine across ALL speed ranges and you can clearly hear it's got some guts, something is stopping the air reaching the vents with RECIRC off. What I find interesting is the fan power / force is no good without recirc on as you see in the video and as you said............When recirc is selected ALL that does is shut the vent in the windscreen scuttle and stop outside air coming in, it just recircs the air already in the car, thats why its advisable not to use for prolonged periods etc. So my first port of call would be to take out the interior pollen filter and see if that makes a difference. I cannot be sure but I would suspect on recirc it "may" not filter the air, but it def does when outside air is coming in, so if the filter is blocked, it would reduce the power, its not easy to see if the filter is blocked, but simply removing it tempararily would see if the flow with RECIRC OFF improves or is the same. If you don't know, the filter is located in the passenger footwell under the dash, remove the lower trim and you can see where its housed, slide the clips, remove cover and pull out the filter (Image below)
  22. When you say aircon system ? do you mean aircon "itself" OR the heater / blower fan does not work ? They are 2 different things in reality. So if you turn OFF aircon, are you saying the blower does not work at all ? Very strange the recirc function makes it work.................What I think is possibly happening, is the blower / heater fan resistor has or is failing and you can only feel air because the recirc vent is closed thus the slow speed fan is felt, when off or OPEN, the slow speed fan does not feel likes its working as it cannot build any flow due to it being vented outside. Offcourse I could be completely barking up the wrong tree. When RECIRC is on, can you operate the fan at ALL diff speeds ? Aircon will ONLY work when the blower speed is set to 1 or higher, hitting the recirc "may" select speed 1 hence the aircon works. Is this standard aircon / panel with knobs or climate ?
  23. I would suggest headlight out so you can have easier access to hold the stationary part whilst "popping" back in the other bit................unless offcourse there is room to do it in situ. My guess is its a little ball and socket arangement ?
  24. oh ok, so you stuck with the diff lamps in the end then. Regarding the hi / lo beam, think it varies on diff cars, not sure how the Fabia should work as I have the projectors.
  25. Did you not need H7......... ? not H4
