Multi media screen not working and sun roof problems
This is mainly for reference for people who might face these issues with their car. This is on a L&K 4x4 265: Problem 1: Multi Media screen not working and only coming on after a while This was mainly a problem with the cold (which we get alot of in the in winter in Finland). The screen wont turn on, the middle dial just has a circle and cant select anything as you can see below. After a while it would all turn on and then it would be fine but in -20 it could be 20 minutes before that and means you cant use anything and also no parking cameras. During the times the screen was not working the dashboard was also switching between Finnish and English constantly, which was really odd. So this was a major nuisance The dealer ship in total had the car 4 times before they were able to fix it (it seems like it works now but weather obviously is better) but it react instantly now like it did when i got the car. What they did is the following: 1st time: Full software update, seemed like it fixed it for them but obviously it was in a heated area so it worked. The next day it didnt work and i went back 2nd time: Changed the center dial. seemed like it fixed it for them but obviously it was in a heated area so it worked. The next day it didnt work and i went back 3rd time: Change the actual screen.seemed like it fixed it for them but obviously it was in a heated area so it worked. The next day it didnt work and i went back 4th time: This time it was properly cold and the mechanic saw the problem and videod it (i also provided videos). Send it to Skoda and they finally concluded it was the Multi Media Control unit that needed to replaced. It took 2 months for the part to arrive and then they needed 2 days to get it working properly. Problem 2: Sun roof not working. First issue was that the unit controlling the opening and closing of the sun roof and the shade cover didnt react. They replaced the whole unit which is located in the roof. It worked for a bit after that but then it stopped working again. It did react and you could hear the roof trying

Oil change service
i didnt try that but dont recall an option to set it to a different schedule. But you can always try. I just wanted to get rid of the warning since i will get mine done with the overall service soon and it just annoyed me

Oil change service
(separate post due to size limitations) step 3 press the left button below the right hand scroller you changed it with in the above steps for 5 seconds and let go. voila the menu to reset. the button is the one with the left arrow and the little boxes on it I reset my oil service warning and now it is gone.

265 TSI 4x4 economy
My longtime average is 11 l/100KM which translates to 25 MPG. But i have a very heavy foot and always put the car in sports mode since then the 4x4 is pro-active while in standard it is reactive. The pro active is alot more fun esspecially in the snow. 40MPG should be easily doable with normal high way cruising

Has anyone experienced any malfunctions with their 2025 Skoda Superb?
Got a fault on my L&K 2.0 TSI 4x4 last week. The main center screen stays black even though you can press the options. Went to the dealer and he said it can be reset by pressing the off button for 20 seconds. This works as a work-around but he also said a software update was needed which will be done on the 1st.

drove 600 km today. mostly on the german autobahn. it was massively great fun. put everything in sport and just slam the gas. i can confirm it is limited to 250km/h. fastest i got was 256. the limiter will be the first thing that goes once warranty is gone and engine tuning will commence No errors occured and the only thing that annoyed me was the blind spot beeping when in busy traffic you need to move lanes in tight spots on to the next lane. if anyone knows if this can be turned off it would be appreciated. fuel consumption is 10.4l per 100km but that is part of the driving. another thing that really worked well was the phone charging wireless, play music and do the navigation. the cooling feature kept it nice and cold. my 9 year old loved the phone/tablet holder fixed to the back of my driver seats. perfectly fitted his samsung s9 tablet and the charging ports kept it topped up, the blanket kept him warm. He also loved the accelerarion. very many weeeeeee coming from the backseat while i put the pedal down.

Software failure not so Superb
now that is weird seeing your screenshots. I took this picture on the 21s of november just to have it. so far havent seen any errors (besides when snow covers the cameras) Edit: Only thing i can think off is a difference in country Finland vs UK and Left hand drive vs Right hand drive (maybe how it would measure drowsiness etc)

yes i have had the same and in the exact same conditions. last week below zero and snow and could only open the car with the key button. pressing the little thing on the handle only seemed to lock it while it was already locked. Also two doors (including the drivers door) wouldnt open from the inside. the silver handle did nothing. they only started working after a while. i assume after the water somehow got in there froze and needed to unfreeze. it worked fine with the handle outside but not inside. had to open the window and use the outside handle to open the door. will keep a close eye on this when it gets proper cold and also the windows are frozen shut abd then go to the dealer if it appears again

Software failure not so Superb
this was mid december 2022 just about to go on holland/germany xmass trip. cant expect any of those safety systems to work. Only gets worse in jan/feb. constant errors which are just ignored as part of life. And that is why i will turn them all off in VCDS once warranty and data connection is done. Best part was the dealer complaining when i gave this car back as trade-in for my L&K 2.0 4x4. We dont have a service history after the warranty time. I just said yes cause you are overpriced and pretty clueless on actual work. "but we cant see it in our systems". I told them it was serviced and the rest is their problem.

Software failure not so Superb
I dont know the rules in the UK in detail but in Finland these assist warnings wont cause any MOT fails or anything else. In the deep of winter our cars are covered in snow and ice and ofcourse then the camera's and sensors dont work. I had this on my MK3 and fully expect on my MK4 in the next months. Anyways they are bloody annoying so i turn them off anyways every time drive. However i do agree it has taken them a long time to fix it (not only for the superb but for all cars like the Kodiaq, passat etc. There are two things they need to do: 1. Acknowledge the problem - They have with the TPI (most if not all dealers are usless and dont know about, including mine, but i told him about it) 2. Give a fix indication timeline - This is where they have failed. I work in IT myself and know timelines are indicative but give updates to the people and extend if needed. But just communicate

So thought i would give an update. Just broke 1000KM (yes at the moment dont drive alot but will do trip to Germany and Holland over Xmass so will be longer drives) Overall i love the car and it features. However whenever i start the car the first thing i do is turn off lane-assist, speed limit warnings, drowsiness warning and one more (the top 4 in the list) which i cant remember the name of right now. These drive me crazy when i leave them on since yes i do speed and the lane assist is just way to intrusive. Probably will turn them all of with VCDS once the data plan and warranty ends. This is not Skoda specific but EU regulations of people who i think never drive a car themselves. The blind spot detection also shows way to long. I am used to pass and then pull back in. Think right, drive right (in Europe). They always start the blink when they are still on and i pull back in. Yesterday for 1 minute i thought i had the dreadful all warnings. It started with front sensor not available and then continued with warnings for all systems that dont work. Was about 5 in a row. But then it cleared within the minute and didnt occur again. However i know this will happen alot once winter hits and the car is covered in snow and ice. Was the same in my Mk3 and it is something that just happens with the winter in Finland So as mentioned overall love it and it is the tiny details that make it perfect. Like the seats sliding back a little when you open the door to make it easier and sliding back when you start. There are loads more of those little things. Also the engine is incredible. When the foot goes to the floor it goes and goes and goes. Cant wait for the autobahn. I have a lotus elise as my summer car but for speed in a straight line the elise doesnt come close (it will destroy the skoda in the corners). Fuel consumption is 10.8 per 100 at the moment but that is down to me and wanting to have fun and I dont really care about fuel efficiency A bit worried about the xmass trip we start on the 18th of December since it will be about 5000K so keeping my eye on the software thread and see if it gets released before i leave so i can get the dealer to update it.

Noisy ventilator
You got me curious after seeing the video. So i tried it out and at the first position there is zero sound you can hear. Same with turning it to 1 bar. Only sound i hear is the air moving if you put it higher. So definitely not normal and needs to be checked, That high sound is really odd sounds like a bearing screeching

Only annoyance so far is that you have to turn lane assist, drowsiness assist and speed warning off every time you start the car. Hope someone with VCDS figures it out later

Annoyingly it is still in Transit from what i see in the App. When i ordered the estimate was 4th of October which is tomorow. I will call the dealer and ask him if he knows more exactly where the car is
