1.5TSi MPG
I think it may have been earlier than that. Our 190 TDI Karoq was registered on 31/10/19 and it reverts to Normal mode every time.

Skoda Fabia break pads
In my experience of 7 VAG cars over the past 20 something years, the OEM brake discs and pads are not of good quality. I used to use EBC Spotties with their Greenstuff pads as a replacement but I've recently had a poor experience with them. In the past few months, I've fitted drilled Brembo discs with Brembo HP pads to both my Yeti and my wife's Karoq. We shall see how that works out but then I'm good at breaking brakes...

Yeti front camber adjustment

Yeti front camber adjustment
Probably not. How far out of spec is it? VAG usually say to adjust it on the subframe, according to my local, trusted, tyre fitting company. Both my previous Mk5 Golf and my current Yeti have been slightly out of spec.

Power drivers seat
I'd guess that it would be an option. My 2016 Yeti SE L Drive has the electrically adjustable driver's seat. I'm told by those who know that it's as rare as the proverbial.

Scout Haldex Differential Noise
Much depends on whether it's the differential or the Haldex. I'm not sure which one you're suggesting is "for life". VAG dealers have a service interval for Haldex oil changes of 40K miles which, arguably, is twice as long as is prudent. Also, they do nothing to clean the gauze filter on Haldex 5 or change the paper filter on Haldex 4. Failing to do this will inevitably lead to clogging and premature failure of the unit. Do you still have drive to the rear wheels?

Brake juddering
VAG OEM discs aren't the best. The front ones on my wife's 2019 Karoq 190 TDI were cooked and warped at 18k miles. I replaced them with drilled Brembo discs and Brembo HP pads.

Has anyone tried or installed the Koni Special Active?
Good to know. I've been considering fitting them to our Karoq 190 TDI which can get a bit bouncy when making good progress on bumpy roads.

Anyone had a remap done on a Superb III TDI 150bhp DSG Remap
Not a Superb but I had my manual Yeti 150 TDI remapped by Angel Tuning a couple of years and about 14k miles ago. No obvious downside. Certainly no black smoke and you wouldn't anticipate that anyway with the DPF. It hasn't improved the fuel economy in the slightest. In fact, it's probably a bit worse but I do use the extra performance most of the time.

remap
To some extent, it may depend on whereabouts in Scotland you live. I've had two Golfs and my Yeti remapped over the course of the past couple of decades. My Mk4 Golf GT TDI was remapped at Star Performance in Dysart using DMS software. I see they're now using a different company's software. https://starperformance.co.uk Good company, good guys and I've been using them for servicing for years without any complaints. More recently, I had my previous Mk5 Golf GT Sport and my Yeti 150 TDI remapped by Angel Tuning Scotland. https://angeltuningscotland.co.uk Paul Winston is equally a good guy and I've no complaints with the results in the two cars he's mapped for me. I keep swithering about having our Karoq 190 TDI remapped as well but so far, I've resisted.

Thinking of buying Octavia estate 4x4
The only thing that occurs to me is that if you live or want to drive in Edinburgh's proposed Low Emissions Zone as well as those proposed for Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow, you might be advised to buy a Euro 6 car if you're going for a diesel.

Haldex 5 service interval
Except that it's not on any VAG service schedule to change the paper cartridge filter on Haldex 4 or clean the gauze strainer on Haldex 5. Inspired by a recent pic I'd seen of a Haldex 5 strainer that appeared to be badly clogged after 20k miles, I recently had the my local VAG Independent service the Haldex on my wife's Karoq 190 TDI. Since it gets driven fairly hard at least some of the time, I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. First pic is the really dirty one that I referred to initially. The second and third are before and after pics of ours. All at 20k miles.

P403 error code TDI vrs
Since you're asking on here, the answer is probably to take it to a garage; preferably a local, independent VAG specialist.

P403 error code TDI vrs
It's related to the function of the EGR valve. https://obd2pros.com/dtc-codes/p0403/

Purpose of seat icons in driver info screen (analogue dash)
That would require further investigation. I don't think in the 2 years we've had it we've ever removed the Karoq's rear seats. That because the Yeti rears live in the garage almost all the time and it's used as our van.
-
Purpose of seat icons in driver info screen (analogue dash)
I lied. The Yeti doesn't have the icons. I've clearly been spending too much time behind the wheel of my wife's Karoq. However it does have the icons and Varioflex seats.

Purpose of seat icons in driver info screen (analogue dash)
Perhaps not. My 2016 Yeti has the icons and Varioflex seats.

Quick haldex question
Haldex - I wonder if there's a Norse saga of the same name. 🤔 I recently saw a pic of a Haldex 5 gauze strainer that was clogged at 20k miles. On that basis and the advice of my local indy VAG specialist, my wife's Karoq is going in there next week at just under 20k miles for a Haldex service.

Outside Temperature Sensor
It's probably the sensor itself. The one on my old Mk5 Golf which is probably the same part, failed when it was about 8 years old.

Stage 2 modification Octavia II (2007) RS TDI 170hp
Yes it does seem a bit down on torque at 400 Nm. However, is the power figure in kW or PS? 168 kW, i.e. c 230 PS would seem to be closer to the correct power figure given your current mods. In comparison my old 2008 GT Sport 170 TDI Golf made 202 PS and 447 Nm on a conservative and regularly calibrated dyno with only a remap. At that point it was still running the original plastic inlet manifold with broken flaps (as I later discovered) and it was fitted with EGR and DPF for as long as I owned it.

Octavia big brakes
You're also going to increase the unsprung weight a fair bit by going to 340 mm discs. How much power are you running? Our Karoq 190 TDI on standard sized, 312mm, drilled Brembo discs with Brembo HP pads has pretty good brakes for the road. If I wanted better retardation, I'd be looking at the Darkside Developments kit to fit Porsche Boxster 4 pot Brembo calipers with the 312mm discs.
