Front discs noisy
Are we really talking about brake discs? or did I miss something?

Is 1.5TSI coasting on D mode while Normal mode selected?
May be, I miss something in your comments guys, but IMHO, there are 2 things to be considered. - Driving profil selected from the button close to the gear lever ('Comfort' / 'Normal' / 'Sport' / 'Eco' / 'Individual') - Gear lever mode either D (said to be 'Normal') or S (for 'Sport'), selected by pulling the gear lever backwards. AFAIK, coasting is only possible in 'Eco' mode and gear lever in 'D' mode.

What Tyres?
Oh yeah! They do wear slowly, but the wet grip is vanishing too quickly IMHO. I really don't like their 'soap' effect in curves in wet conditions and the under-steering they generate.

What Tyres?
Do you really mean PS4S or simply PS4 ? Because there seems to be a significant difference: I've replaced the 4 original P7 by PS4 (also in 235/40/19 size). I'm fully satisfied with them. Good dry and wet grip (even in curves). Stiff sidewalls, which highly improve steering sharpness and feedback information in the steering wheel. Noise is somehow the same.

You can have a look to kopacek.com they propose OEM rubber mates for driver / front passenger / rear passengers. Don't forget tunnel cover (also rubber one). You can also go to your dealer to buy these 5 piece rubber mates.

Superb estate MY16, weird memory seat behaviour
Hi, Do you know if you have 'Easy Entry' function activated? It is to give you more space, when you get in/out. It may generate some conflicts with seat memory? Note: I'm not sure of that. I know this function exists and can be activated, but I did not activate it on mine. I'm just guessing and looking for a possible explanation.

Buying Superb III after SII
An interesting compromise (to me at least) would be a panoramic roof. A single panel glass roof, but not opening, as proposed in several Peugeot for instance. No leak, no particular reduced headroom, no noise, no actuation system failure (except maybe for the awning system if installed), and a brighter interior! SWMBO appreciated it a lot on its ex 2008 Mk1.

Washing and Detailing
@cronemeister You forgot one point in your list. Decontaminating with a clay bar is a mandatory step between your steps 2 and 3. Otherwise, you can add even more swirls with your electric polisher. Regarding the electric polisher, it is highly recommended to chose an 'orbital' one instead of a polisher with fixed axis. The latter one is for well experienced detailers, otherwise, there's a risk to 'burn' the varnish layer.

Cracked windscreen, any tips?
If you have Lane Assist or TSR, don't forget to test both systems once you get the car repaired, since they need camera calibration after windscreen replacement. Be sure everything work fine to be able to open claim quickly if needed! Also check the parking ticket clip as said above. Mine had been glued by the operators. Hopefully this costs less than ยฃ2 as spare part, and I've written a 'how to' guide to change t on your own, if needed!...

Buying Superb III after SII
Mainly at ceiling and A-pilar junctions or at ceiling and C- o D-pilar junction. If it leaks you should find wet carpet at driver and front passenger location; or in the Just have a search on this forum. I know this question has already been asked (and answered) at least twice. Quite easy: a small nylon brush, soapy water and some brief efforts.

Some advice on inverters
Hi, For bote first questions, I fear it just wonโt deliver enough power and wonโt enable any plugged item work. If it work, I fear it may heat a lot! Quite risky IMHO...

Replacement Centre Caps
I think you have to chose properly your system, since the center caps are not flat. It may be hard to make an efficient suction cup onto center caps and pull them out... But for sure, much quicker and and sweat saving than wheels removing!

Skoda Superb Estate Mk3 4x4
I fully agree with @Esseesse200. 4x4 + winter tyres, youโll really improve your safety. It will be really hard to go ยซ off-road ยป unexpectedly... ๐ Additionally, if you go to winter sports, needing to put snow chains will become really rare. ๐

Replacement Centre Caps
@ArisaigDavid You need to remove the wheels and push them from the backside. A kind of anti-theft system... ๐

Trim chrome superb
It's a well-know issue from Skoda dealers. May be you can try to have it replaced for free even if warranty is over. At least, it's worth a try! Nothing to lose!

What bulbs are fitted to the S3 & upgraded bulb recommendations
@Floriann OK, then this may help you to chose among the bulbs available on the english website version: Intensity on Y-axis / Light temp on X-axis (the more on the left, the warmer it is / the more on the right the cooler it is). https://www.ledperf.co.uk/xenon-bulbs-effect-h8-=c=-139_240.html The Michiba Diamond White should be a good alternate to MTEC SuperWhite...
