  1. AFAIK, the warranty against corrosion is something like 8 or 10 years on VAG models. I would attempt to see what's feasible by 2 or 3 different dealers to check they state the same thing. And then probably open a claim by Skoda UK. At least, it's worth a try...
  2. Good job. And no 'before / after' pics? πŸ˜‰
  3. Hi, AFAIK, if everything is correctly plug, you need to declare the seat control unit to the '09 - central electric' controller. This is not a simple DIY job. It requires quite intermediate or expert level of knowledge to do it right. At least, I would go to a dealer or to some specialist who do know what they do. @ApertureS πŸ‘‹ should confirm this (if still lurking on this forum from time to time).
  4. Hi, Have you looked on lllparts.co.uk? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  5. Autohold has 3 setting levels, to release braves: Early / Normal / Late. I changed mine from Normal to Early to have smoother starts at traffic lights or stop signs. Maybe something to check / try?
  6. Hi, Have you check your harnesses? No rodent bites? Β΄Rodent attack’ can do a real mess. I faced that on my wifeΒ΄s former Audi Q3. Maybe worth to check... πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Can you post a VCDS scan report? BTW, have you ever tried to ask on the Ross-tech forum (assuming you own a genuine VCDS tool)?
  7. Hello, Check the trunk sensor, on the boot sill. It’s a proximity sensor, which checks that the boot is closed. This sensor should be under the small cover that is spring-loaded around the locking ring. Just check it’s correctly connected. I had a similar problem on my wifeΒ΄s former Audi Q3. Hope it helps.
  8. Hi, Just tell us your engine type please. We only know it ain’t a diesel. 😁
  9. Hi, I would seek for a seat cover specialist. I fear all seat covers, you can find easily on first Google pages won’t fit. But I don’t know any. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  10. Hi, I have just checked on official Skoda brochures. Superb Estate Mk3 Outer width (w/o mirrors): 1864mm Inner width (rear passengers): 1520mm Kodiaq mk1 Outer width (w/o mirrors): 1882mm Inner width (rear passengers): 1510mm But the inner width seems to be given at door handles according to brochures’ pics. The most interesting value would be the inner width at rear door armrest. I don’t have my Mk3 anymore, but this was a value I had looked at when comparing different Estate models to remplace my Superb Estate Mk2… I don’t know if the Kodiaq is wider for this particular value. Kids have grown and I have only one child seat for the youngest who is 8.5 y.o. now. So, not an issue anymore for me now… πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ Nevertheless, the legroom for rear passengers is very similar on these both cars.
  11. Strange that your local dealer didn't tell you about this setting...
  12. It may be me that reported this on my ex Mk3 TDI190. I can't remeber why i did not want to fil a full tank, but I also started with 5l or so. And autonomy remained the same. I then topped up anotehr 5l and still faced the same problem. I finally ended up with maybe another 10l top up or so, before the autonomy went up again. I guess this is linked with the fuel gauge, which is incremental instead of being continuous. IMHO, this would also explain why the "volume to be replenished" displayed on the dashboard has 5l steps...
  13. The post including this adaptation has been removed by a moderator since this morning. It ain’t an issue anymore now.
  14. OK. My bad. I lost something in translation indeed. I've asked a moderator to remove my message on the S&S mod. The coding was accept though and I didn't drive that much since I've made it. This why it fooled me. Thanks for having clarified your sayings. Cheers.
  15. I'm also impressed by my Kodiaq's mpg compared to my ex- Superb Mk3. Superb Mk3 Estate TDI190 4x4 DSG6 : 7.15l/100km over 136000 km of ownership. Kodiaq Mk1 TDI200 4x4 DSG7 : 7.25l/100km over 7000 km of ownership... I expect it may increase a bit when temperatures will cool down in fall and winter. I hope we can see your new "bear" in the picture thread soon. πŸ˜‰
  16. Oh I see! It was first a rumor, but finally still worked until 2021 or so... Interesting. If you don't need my list, I have no problem with it. Then don't waste your time on this thread. I don't need people who criticizes without proposing anything else. This is a lose-lose deal which doesn't help going forward. Regards.
  17. I've made this mod on my ex-Superb Mk3 and lived happily with it for roughly 7 years. It simply works. The S&S did not kick in all the time. Many VCDS owners have completely disabled their S&S by setting this start voltage limit to 12.0V. Maybe I misunderstand o mistranslate your sayings (sorry I'm french, nobody's perfect), but I don't see what makes you say this method is a rumor. Of course there are probably most optimized ways to make the S&S less invasive. But considering a gain/effort ratio aspect, I don't know any better way or even at least as efficient as this one. If you do, please share. πŸ™‚ You're absolutely right. But still considering a gain/effort aspect, what you propose would have taken me way more time. I've tried this mods on my own. Nobody told me what versions of HW/SW they work with. For any of the mods I've found, if it works, this makes me happy. If it fails, no problem, my car remains as it was before. Note: I already make you save time. I don't share those which failed for me... ;) Cheers.
  18. My Kodiaq has been 1st registered in Feb 2022.
  19. Yes. All codings, IΒ΄ve tested all the codings IΒ΄ve shared above. πŸ™‚ But pay attention to the 1st sentence of the disclaimer. Some may not work on all Kodiaqs though…

  21. Hi, 2 new VCDS mods tonight: Activated Easy entry for both driver and passenger seats. It works much better with bonnet opened indeed 🀭 Activated the regular Cruise Control (in addition to, not instead of ACC) Coding will be shared in the dedicated thread, of course. πŸ˜‰ Found other codings but not tested yet: Reduce ping-pong effect of Lane Assist Add tolerance for predective ACC
  22. Interesting... Going from my ex Superb Mk3 to a Kodiaq Mk1 helped me saving 45% on car insurance.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  23. Hi, Made one of the most favorite VCDS mod : "Stop and Start settings" tuned with VCDS to make it less 'invasive'. Coding will be shared in the dedicated thread. πŸ˜‰ But I still struggle with 2 VCDS mods : Needle sweep when putting contact ON. Coding is accepted, but nothing happens on my VC... πŸ€” Activating Easy entry on both driver and passenger seats. Errr... Possibly I forgot to open the bonnet. 🀭 Not used to this. This is the 1st VAG car I own, which requires this. I owned 5 other VAG car before this one. Never had to it. Will try another day... πŸ˜„
