Unexpected day off, DHL / Curry's unable to organise the proverbial.... Old quarry, now a 4x4 playground .... and a nice little reward...

So today was the 'I really must clean out the motor covers for the 1st time' All fine until the plate and 1 of the 2 screws on the front decided to disappear into frame 🤬. 6 bolts taken out, Motor dropped, plate out and re-glued to frame, all back together thankfully. The screw was the little fecker next to the pedal

Group ride again today, sun trying it's best to stay out but still chilly

An unplanned ride today, managed a few hrs free time so off out in the sun and a wander around on the Orbea

Possibly the muddiest/wet group ride yet.... although we had no rain 😄 The halfway stop made up for it though 😋

I did walk it through, hopping from tuft to tuft... Group ride again today, 18 miles, but someone did forget to start Wahoo 🙄

Out on the Orbea to get the legs moving again, so much easier today 😁

Group ride Saturday. Absolutely dead legs again after Coffee break, I don't know what it is about this particular stop 🤷🏻‍♀️ Maybe it's the 20-25 mins stop, cold legs and the looooong uphill drag 🙄 I'm definitely going backwards fitness wise, 193 HR peak on a mentally steep hill - Strava name, Stupidly Steep Bit, .14 mile, 80 ft climb 10 % - doesn't help and average HR today was 150+, a good 20 over what it was 18 months ago. Proper diet on the way me'thinks, no treats.

Mine are 312GW's not 512's...

I've got 2 Nextbase 512? Wifi cams, 1 in OH's 500 and other in work van plus an extra mount hardwired into the Superb. No issues with any of them although front facing only. Always connected via phone no problem when needed, App seems okay and PC video editing is easy to use, I 'think' you can also edit on the app? 64gb card, 10 mins segments at hi-res is around 3 days of recording, so maybe 4-6hrs?

Another incident filled group ride 😀 20 mins in and Ben's upper jockey wheel decides to part company with the derailleur. Amazingly we found the wheel, the loose bearing cover and the screw but threads on plate lol to be stripped. Walk back to start, luckily mostly downhill or flat. My front tyre then decided to deflate.... Small pinhole in sidewall, just enough sealant in there to get me home so a job for tomorrow to top up.

I'm sure everyone on here who has one fitted still has a display for the sensors? I 'think' the tracking display is still there but TBH I don't use it. The temp display is different but still there. Like everyone, I've had a few niggles but compared to the outdated Colombus I can live with it

More nonsense then. 🙄 As it seems that Lane discipline and driving with a phone to your ear - both easily seen by everyone apart from Plod and easily enforceable - I fail to see how or who will enforce this one 🤔

First group ride of the year, still wet and muddy 😀. For some reason it turned out to be a tyre destroying day... First one was youngest lad, ripped a sidewall on a broken off metal railing post, tube just about stayed in place for the ride. Second was one of the ride leaders who noticed a bulge in his rear tyre at coffee stop. Bead and sidewall separated so scrap, luckily cycle shop at Birches Valley so new tyre fitted. Third was my rear which went near to flat on the Blue trail, bit squishy on the fast flow section. No sign of a puncture, pumped up and no sealant to be seen so probably burped it on the rock sections. Probably 4 miles on top of total shown.

i'm out later with the BBC weather saying 80% chance of rain when i start group ride so not the only lunatic!

Boy its cold out there today, as cold as I've been in a while, proper wind chill. Still wet and muddy.. 😀

Final one of the year.... Plenty of slop still even if I bring a load home each time.... As good as a rear mudguard. 😀

Analogue ride..... Boy its tough after riding Digital for the last 2 - 3 weeks 😳. Nice and wet, sloppy again and now highlights how useless the HT brakes are 🤔. I can feel a spending spree coming on 😏
