Help - ACC
I turned the traffic sign bit off too. ACC is a must for me- would never go back to std CC- just too many cars on the road thesedays

Struggling to settle on a used kodiaq
Would always get ACC now. Traffic jam assist is great tool. SEL and above will give you most of what you want. Then you will have to shop around for the rest

Tyres "du jour"
No offence taken at all. Short answer is it helps with oversteer.
-
Tyres "du jour"
Honestly Yogi, the advice was given in good faith. It's generally better to have decent tyres on the back, but at the end of the day it's your call.

Tyres "du jour"
Put the new ones on the back and swap the backs to the front.

Kodiaq 2 PHEV launched in UK from £41,935
I could be having a "senior" moment here, but I thought that with a bit of a discount, you could pick up a base Kodiaq when the first one was launched for around £!8k. Yes it was basic and yes it probably wasn't the best option, but it was a new car for £18k. Skoda's pricing has gone silly.

Kodiaq Facelift Bosch Rear Wiper Blade
Correct. I have fitted one recently. They are ever so slightly, maybe 1/2" shorter than the factory fitted ones but fit perfectly and are silent.

Rear wiper blade 2022 VRS?
They arrived this morning. Look a good fit, maybe 1/2” shorter than the originals. No squeaking in operation!

Rear wiper blade 2022 VRS?
Same here. I took a flier on them after seeing your link, so I blame you! 😉 nah seriously though the original is so annoying I have to do something

Travel Assist not available *beep*
The inevitable did happen. However, like Yogi a software update seems to have fixed it......for the moment........

Rear wiper blade 2022 VRS?
Will be interested to see how that goes as the current weather has reminded me how hopeless the original is.

Travel Assist not available *beep*
Could be another red herring but .... I turned off "Traffic Sign recognition" the other day and since then have had no issues with it. I'll post again if the inevitable happens..........

Cambelt Replacement Schedule for 2018 1.4 4x4 Automatic Kodiaq
You mean as every brake in existence has done since it was installed? Maybe you do need new brakes but is it any wonder the term "stealers" is in the common parlance?

Thoughts on the look of the Mark 2
But probably a lot more reliable and available with a "sensible" petrol engine!

Thoughts on the look of the Mark 2
And now it's going to cost me a lot more than that as I LOVE the look of the 2024 Santa Fe. My poor bank balance 😞

Travel Assist not available *beep*
My (now EX) dealership sat on the issue for nearly a year. Only resolved when they wanted to service my car again (no thanks until this issue is sorted). On the Karoq forum I found a link to the recall information . This came up for my car. Now bringing it up with another dealer to see if I can get it resolved, but does suggest a software solution.........(maybe). VIN Checker | ŠKODA Australia (skoda.com.au)

Travel assist unavailable alarm
I've had this for over a year on my 2021 Kodiaq. My (now EX) dealership sat on the issue for 10 months until it came around to service time and they wanted my business. I'm going elsewhere and escalating again. 1 year left on the warranty so the clock is ticking..............

Thoughts on the look of the Mark 2
Not a huge fan. Hate the silver in the pillar and in the rear in some versions. Looks cheap imo. As for the ipad inside.......... Overall probably saved me a few thousand by not tempting me to trade in. In all honesty I feel that Skoda has also lost a fair bit in the value stakes. When it does come to trade in they may well not be top of the short list for me.

Skoda U.K. Customer Service not fit for purpose.
I have to say the only time I have used Skoda Customer Services (about 4 years ago), they were brilliant. Unblocked an annoying dealer.

2024 Kodiaq (and Superb) interior photos :)
As I've said for a long time, get used to the VC as it will be (probably is already) far far cheaper to produce than analogue dials. Offered as an option to trap the early adopters, it will be standard in the next few years. I prefer analogue but could live with the VC. What would be harder for me to live with is the fugly "infotainment" screen that looks like someone has stuck an ipad on top of the dash. Who in their right mind thinks this is an improvement on the existing display?

Camshaft drive belt replacement and replace water pump on 1.4 Petrol
I might be old school, but I am also not into wasting money! Personally I would always change a belt around 150k or so. I wouldn't change a chain (which I believe the 2.0tsi has?). Just my opinion

2024 Kodiaq Interior spy shots - final car on infotainment screen
I appreciate I am probably in the minority but that centre display is awful. Distracting and takes the looks away from the cabin.

Settings for driving on the continent
yes settings for lights and speed can be changed within the menu. Maybe only for LED lights though, not sure. i'm not aware of any setting changes for cruise control

Skoda Kodiaq SE 1.5 Petrol Manual 5 Seater
I had a similar model around the same year. It was an SEL and had sat nav. I'm pretty sure the SE didn't have it as standard.
