Spare Wheel for Octavia SE L TD
The foam and jack kit includes everything, except for the actual spare wheel. This can be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting OEM part number 5E0093860E. The online Czech price is 1,329CZK (about £46.95), but the UK price can sometimes be more...perhaps around 20% more. Once you have the foam and jack kit, you can try out a 225/45R17. It might only fit if fully deflated, so that the sidewalls become floppy. If so, a 205/55R16 with 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 steel rim is the usual choice of spare wheel for the Octavia MK3. Mytyres can supply a steel rim with a fitted and balanced tyre, or just the steel rim on its own. An alternative to the 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 steel rim is a 6Jx16 ET48 5/112 57.1 steel rim which is suitable for use with snow chains, but like the 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 can be used with summer, all-season, or winter tyres. Foam and jack kit 5E0093860E (for Octavia MK3) (1,329CZK about £46.95) Doesn't fit some VRS and 4x4 models, but the VAG dealer can check this using the car's VIN number. https://eshop.skoda-auto.cz/cs_CZ/sada-pro-vymenu-rezervniho-kola-16/p/5E0093860E Alcar 8667 6.5Jx16 ET46 5/112 57.1 steel rim (for Octavia MK3) (7.6kg) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rims/details?vehicleId=50254278459135088&rimCode=ALCAR8667 Alcar 8247 6Jx16 ET48 5/112 57.1 steel rim (for Octavia MK3) (7.6kg) https://www.mytyres.co.uk/rims/details?vehicleId=185949956245308528&rimCode=ALCAR8247

2015 Superb Wheel/Tyre Change
215/55R17 and 235/45R18 are Superb MK3 tyre sizes, not Superb MK2 tyre sizes. 215/55R17 and 235/45R18 have much bigger outside diameters than Superb MK2 tyre sizes. Which Front Shock absorbers?
The aftermarket shock absorber market do tend to sell each of their shock absorbers to cover a large range of OEM part numbers, so genuine Skoda shock absorbers should in many cases be better optimized to the springs that Skoda has matched them with.

Brake Parts Nightmare
There are two types of front brake calipers on the 288x25mm front brake discs fitted to the Roomster. The earlier type (TRW front brake calipers) was fitted to model years 2006-2010, and the later type (ATE front brake calipers) was fitted to model years 2011-2015. The front brake calipers for the earlier type come with either brake pads WITH a brake pad wear warning contact or brake pads WITHOUT a brake pad wear warning contact...as shown in the diagrams below. Spare wheel purchasing (confirmation)
With that in mind, 195/60R16 6Jx16 ET35 (the official Skoda winter tyre/rim size for the Kamiq) might be a good idea to use as a spare wheel. Compared to the 205/60R16, 195/60R16 has a diameter 12mm smaller (or a radius 6mm smaller)...as shown in the chart below. 195/60R16 is a less common and slightly more expensive tyre size than 205/60R16, so I would probably go with the 205/60R16 tyre size if fitting and removing it from the wheel well isn't too difficult...Doofy managed it in his thread. Which Front Shock absorbers?
Not everyone has trouble finding suitable aftermarket replacement shock absorbers for the Yeti. All Yeti models are covered by the below three Bilstein B4 shock absorbers. The selection of the front shock absorbers depends on whether the struts are 50mm or 55mm. The rear shock absorbers are the same for all models. Bilstein B4 front shock absorbers (for Yeti with 50mm struts) 22-183712 (sold to replace 1K0413031BG, 1K0413031BK, 1K0413031BL) Bilstein B4 front shock absorbers (for Yeti with 55mm struts) 22-183729 (sold to replace 3C0413031BC) Bilstein B4 rear shock absorbers (for Yeti...all models) 19-183749 (sold to replace 1K0513029EN, 1K0513029MN, 1K0513029MQ)

Xtreme wheel replica
As you can see in the chart below, ETRTO lists an 8" minimum rim width for a 235/35 tyre. The Octavia Mk3 eXtreme alloy rim is 7.5Jx19. If you want an alternative to the standard 225/35R19, perhaps consider 225/40R19. This would raise the gearing by 3.5%...although some might find this acceptable in order to better protect the 19" rim from potholes. Which Front Shock absorbers?
Finding the correct Bilstein B4 front shock absorbers for the Yeti is straightforward, as shown below. It just depends whether the front struts are 50mm or 55mm. 280x22mm front brake discs (build code 1ZF) use 50mm struts. (77kW/105PS to 92kW/125PS) 288x25mm front brake discs (build code 1ZE) use 55mm struts. (103kW/140PS to 118kW/160PS) 312x25mm front brake discs (build code 1ZA) use 55mm struts. (125kW/170PS) Check the Yeti's build codes to be sure what front brake discs are fitted, in case the above information matching the front brake disc sizes to the engine power isn't correct in all cases. Rear suspension springs
RA6162 is an increased ride height rear spring because it's sold to replace 1K0511115CS and is sometimes used on the Octavia MK2 4x4 Scout. The HD (Heavy Duty) rear spring that KYB lists in their catalogue is much stiffer than 1K0511115BG because the HD rear spring that KYB lists has a wire diameter of around 12.5mm whereas the 1K0511115BG has a wire diameter of around 11.75mm. The Octavia MK2 catalogue lists ten different rear springs for the front wheel drive standard ride height car, in increasing levels of stiffness as you go from 1 to 10 in the list. The HD KYB is around 8 or 9 in the list due to its 12.50mm wire diameter, although KYB don't give the OEM part number that it's sold to replace. Other options to 1K0511115BG include number 6 and 7 in the list. These would give a stiffness somewhere in the middle of the number 5 and number 8 in the list. 1K0511115BG (number 5/10 in the list) (One aftermarket brand lists this rear spring as having an 11.75mm wire diameter) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/1k0511115bg?supplier%5B%5D=253&supplier%5B%5D=246&supplier%5B%5D=32 1K0511115BH (number 6/10 in the list) (One aftermarket brand lists this rear spring as having a 12.00mm wire diameter) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/1k0511115bh?supplier%5B%5D=253&supplier%5B%5D=32&supplier%5B%5D=246 1K0511115DE (number 7/10) in the list) (One aftermarket brand lists this rear spring as having a 12.25mm wire diameter) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/car-parts/oem/1k0511115de?supplier%5B%5D=253&supplier%5B%5D=32&supplier%5B%5D=246

Extra deep rear discs ?? Karoq 1.5 TSI
DPX2153 in that kit are Karoq rear brake pads. DPX2173 would have been the correct rear brake pads. Just keep using Karoq rear brake pads until those rear discs are replaced. I would consider EBC's entry level Ultimax brake pads (for normal road use) if they were price competitive with ATE ceramic (low-dust) brake pads...and sometimes they are.
-
Extra deep rear discs ?? Karoq 1.5 TSI
If you've got a Superb MK3 with 300x12mm rear brake discs, then EBC have sold you the wrong rear brake pads, ie. Karoq rear brake pads and not Superb MK3 rear brake pads. Karoq and Superb MK3 rear brake pads are almost identical, but the friction material on the Karoq rear brake pads doesn't go all the way down to the bottom of the metal backing plate...as shown in the below two diagrams. EBC can't correct their mistake, because the smaller area of friction material on the Karoq rear brake pads wears a narrower groove on the rear brake discs...and if EBC started selling the correct rear brake pads customers who used part worn rear brake discs that had used the Karoq rear brake pads would notice a problem. If you want the correct EBC rear brake pads for your Superb MK3 300x12mm rear brake discs, purchase the rear brake pads that EBC sell for the Superb MK3 310x22mm rear brake discs and NOT the rear brake pads that EBC sell for the Superb MK3 300x12mm rear brake discs...if you don't want to be supplied with Karoq rear brake pads. 245 40 18 Tyres
The 18" rims on the Superb MK3 are at least 8" wide. The Superb MK3 parts catalogue shows most are 8Jx18 ET44, but there's a couple of BRAGA alloy rims listed at 8.5Jx18 ET41.

Rear suspension springs
If it's an Octavia MK2 estate FWD (not 4x4) with standard ride height (not lowered ride height or increased ride height), then gknautomotive suggests 1K0511115BF as the standard ride height rear spring or 1K0511115BG as the reinforced (with towbar, etc.) standard ride height rear spring. Kilen 63118 would be a good starting point. Kilen 63118 (matches 1K0511115BG) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191411932143

Extra deep rear discs ?? Karoq 1.5 TSI
The Karoq parts catalogue lists two versions of the 272x10mm rear brake discs: 5Q0615601B and 5Q0615601D. 5Q0615601B is the 58.3mm version, whereas 5Q0615601D is the 48.2mm version. According to TRW on autodoc, the rigid rear axle Karoq uses the 58.3mm version, whereas the multi-link rear axle Karoq uses the 48.2mm version. 5Q0615601B (D=58.3mm) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ate/15801924#brake-disc 5Q0615601D (D=48.2mm) https://www.autodoc.co.uk/ate/7008517#brake-disc

Spare wheel purchasing (confirmation)
That's an undersize 205/55R16, which isn't a standard Kamiq tyre size. Compared to the standard 215/45R18 Kamiq tyre size 205/55R16 has an outside diameter 2.9% smaller. A Kamiq owner on another thread found that a 205/60R16 6Jx16 ET35 5/100 57.1 fitted in the spare wheel well...so that seems like a better option. Replacement Alloy for 1.2 TSI 2013 86HP
5JA601025 is the CARME alloy rim. It's also available new from the Skoda accessory catalogue. The online Czech price is about £127...but the UK price can sometimes be about 20% more. The Skoda accessory catalogue uses different OEM part numbers...in the format xxx071xxx...so that Skoda can sell them at about 60% less than their normal prices. The alloy rims shown in the Skoda accessory catalogue can be ordered from any VAG parts department by quoting the relevant OEM part number, eg. 5JA071495. Tire width change
The Kodiaq MK1 has two standard 17" rim specifications...6.5Jx17 ET38 and 7Jx17 ET40. The Nanuq is the narrower rim specification, ie. 6.5Jx17, so it makes sense to stick to the standard 215/65R17 tyre size with that rim specification. In the ETRTO chart below, 6.5 is shown in bold for the 215/65R17 tyre size...and hence is the standard rim width for that tyre size. Sportline springs on standard shocks? Which spring brands?
5Q0411105HG front and 3Q0511115AB rear looks like a good starting point for the Superb MK3 2.0TDI FWD hatchback. Sportline springs on standard shocks? Which spring brands?
Without knowing what springs your Superb MK3 left the factory with, there's nothing to compare those lowered ride height springs against. Compared to 5Q0411105HE, the 5Q0411105HG might raise the front unladen ride height by about 12mm. If you use a 5Q0411105HG front and 3Q0511115AB rear combination, the front end might look high.
