  1. Stage 2 Revo tune with both ECU and TCU done on the 272. R600, elbow, muffler delete, intercooler and all uprated pipe work. Genuinely does seem to do the Tesco shop a bit better than it used to.
  2. Bilsteins all round on mine. Great drive and no issues.
  3. Recent weather may have had an effect. Mine sometimes disables on really bad road conditions, normally from debris getting splashed up against it. Leaves, mucky water etc. Normally either a wash or standing overnight brings it back on again.
  4. At least your sorted and back on the road safely.
  5. Personally, I just replace the battery in the key every year when I service the car. costs very little and I can forget about it for another year.
  6. I have two cars declared sorn at the minute. They have been sorn for quite a while. I declared them sorn once, and they remain that way until such times as I want to tax them again.
  7. As above. Whistle at idle on a warm engine. noise coming from down the front of the engine. No distinct variation in pitch when applying slight revs. assuming water pump from previous experience, but haven’t really investigated as to be honest I haven’t got the energy at the minute.
  8. On my phone that sounds like more of a rumble than a creak but it could be my audio/ability to hear it properly. rumble most likely top mounts on front struts. creaks either bottom bushes or anti roll bar.
  9. Using Blackvue 750s 2ch. No issues and doesn’t stand out on screens when fitted. View on phone rather than screen on camera itself, so blends in far better and doesn’t distract at night.
  10. I use the blackvue 750s 2ch in our cars and they are fantastic quality, even at night.
  11. Thanks. Nolan’s involved, as is the likes of Belfast live and a few others. None are able to get into it with the investigation ongoing.
  12. Shot in the head once with BB gun inside a school bus, so reasonably close distance, and same weapon used several weeks later to try again. She’s 15.
  13. Police are involved since April/May last year along with MP’s/MLA’s and news media etc. Most hands are tied due to ongoing investigation etc. The body camera is on police advice. It’s 2 main ones who are mates and work together to target her by winding up others around them. It’s now listed as a hate crime. Yes the school is absolutely pathetic at dealing with it. Headmaster turned her away one morning after she was shot at for a second time, as it was beneath him to deal with it. Parents are delusional and give it the usual, Oh No, not our wee perfect child, and consider us monsters for even suggesting such a thing.
  14. As per the title, does anyone have any experience or recommendations for a small but quality body camera that can be worn on the front of a blazer pocket? My daughter has been picked on for being dyslexic for over a year now. She has been soaked with energy drinks, hit with stones/rocks, bottles in the face and elbowed in the chest. Assaulted in corridors in school along with being shot in the head, threatened with rape/being thrown out emergency doors at speed on the bus, and recently an attempt on her life with one little individual mounting a grass verge at speed in his car to try and hit her. So I’m looking for something quality she can wear that’s not too big that will connect to her iPhone for viewing video or sending images or sound etc. Any ideas? As I’m not sure of makes or where to start really, and need something before she starts back to school. Thanks folks 👍🏻
  15. The car tracks perfectly straight and steers just as well. No play/wander or feeling of any description while driving. It feels absolutely 100%. The last half turn more or less in either direction sounds like your turning something on failed bearings when slow turning like parking etc. Exact same symptoms as last time. I never thought at the time but should have asked TPS if they had similar stock of all variants of the rack or higher amounts of the variable version. I looked into the schematics the last time and I remember drawing the conclusion of what probably caused the noise in the previous rack, but my TBI is brutal now, and I remember looking but not any other real memory of what conclusion I came to or why. I’d have to start again and I’m at the stage I’d forget the previous paragraph as soon as I got to the next one. I rely heavily on my friend these days as my trust in myself is severely diminished.
  16. There’s Two different arms for the front from them. Different part numbers. One is listed as camber adjustment. These arms are the same length. Measured before fitment and confirmed with supplier. My camber is spot on and front of car height unchanged.
  17. Bolts are fitted correctly and alignment is perfect. The time spent making sure was way over what a customers car would get. Hunter 4 wheel alignment with a dedicated alignment ramp used to confirm. Skoda tech not surprised and 87 racks in stock from TPS. Part of the noise from the front was still there after replacing arms etc weeks ago, and only had a chance to track it down yesterday on a free ramp. It’s really just down to my shocking luck with cars. ☹️
  18. No. It was under warranty so we didn’t strip it last time. Both times it cracks badly in either direction when nearing the limit of turn. So say the last half turn in either direction. sounds like when a bearing fails for example, and cracks when turning. Had to remove links to even tell it was in the rack. Stands out a mile inside the car, but needed a scope to tell it was coming from the rack from engine bay.
  19. Sorry. Can an admin delete one of the double posts please. wifi dropped as I was posting and it posted twice when it came back on again. 😞
  20. Has anyone else had a rack failure? Im assuming it’s just my usual horrendous luck with cars, but my rack is making noises again, not even a year after they replaced it the last time. Waiting to see if they’ll replace it again as it hasn’t even done 5k since it was fitted. My mates convinced someone doesn’t like me and has a voodoo doll they’ve used to curse me.

  22. I would say no as I didn’t notice any difference when lifting one or the other. The alloy arms are listed as a lighter version of the same arm when upgrading for the track to try and save weight where possible. Not sure it’ll make a big difference in a passenger car with variable loads at any given time. Camber was fine, but the alignment need reigned in quite significantly after fitting to correct it. They do have another similar arm but it designed with offset bushes to adjust caster. Should be a TRC1071 arm. I went with the H&R bars due to them claiming no grease needed due to the bushes they use. Only time will tell if this is true or not.
  23. Contact Bilstein and ask them the question directly for a definitive response.
  24. Recently changed mine from the OEM bridgestones to pilot sport 5’s and adjusted them to 245. They are noticeably quieter and seem smoother on the road.
  25. Just by way of an update on this. Anyone thinking of going down the same route to upgrade suspension and roll. everything so far is going well apart from the new OEM front drop links, which have started to pack in very quickly. obviously not up to the extra work load being asked of them from the bar being quite a lot stiffer. I’ve ordered super pro trc4301 links and will report back once they arrive and I’ve had a chance to fit them.
