  1. Check they were fitted the correct way as they’re directional pads too
  2. Oh didn’t realise they were that cheap tbh, was expecting treble what you said at least
  3. Get them off and do an Edd China special*, be cheaper, unless they’re too far gone * Satin black spray
  4. If you’re only going to do short miles do you really need such a large car and pricey? I guess you won’t always do roughly 4 miles but have you considered an older and much cheaper car? I’m hardly one to talk only doing 3k a year but if you can save loads of money might as well, if money isn’t really a problem then no problem paying to fix things if they go wrong
  5. IMO everytime a service is done you should at least take the air filter out and give it a bash and vacuum, but as they’re cheap no issues replacing as well
  6. What was up with it?
  7. Also have you had it checked for codes? One other thing which is worth a shot, if your maps aren’t update to date, update them as it does a proper reboot of satnav, I guess you’ve updated them before? If not there is a guide on here I can point you to
  8. Not sure tbh, someone’s bound to have made one even if it’s for a golf or so as it’ll somewhat similar speaking of golf, have you searched for something like “vw golf mk7 gps position incorrect”, there’s a few posts with similiar problems to you, someone’s got fixed after changing head unit completely eek. He had it in with VW who changed antenna etc but didn’t help. So if I were you I’d try disconnecting and reconnecting antenna and connectors to head unit (I believe some of them go to the unit in glove box) Another thing, is your compass showing correctly?
  9. Is it a courtesy car they gave you? Looks alright to me. I wonder what the purpose of that cubby hole is hmm Saying that the pockets on the superbs seats, anyone found a purpose for them? Is the driver meant to put something in the passenger pocket and passenger in drivers? 😮
  10. It would be best to remove the shark fin and check part number. You’ll be able to check the connectors whilst there.
  11. If it helps I know people who have fitted B4’s to Fiat 500’s as will I be soon. They say it’s a slightly firmer ride which is a good thing. One of my friends has Koni actives on his beemer and loves them, he does a lot of miles a year and been on there the last 5 or so years
  12. That’s true but insurance companies like to get out from paying anything so better safe than sorry
  13. B4 is meant to give you OE comfort plus a little better B6 is more harder and would require insurance to be informed I suspect If it was me I’d go B4 as I prefer comfort to bang crash hardness
  14. Eco mode gives you the ability to coast but acc deactivates this feature because it’ll slow the car down using engine braking and brakes. With acc disabled and you go down a hill your car will just free fall Basically your car is fine
  15. Wasn’t aware you could get them separately, make sense you can though
  16. Yes but you can’t buy them on their own https://www.amazon.co.uk/Skoda-Genuine-Alloy-Covers-Locking/dp/B08PL6HVHD/ref=asc_df_B08PL6HVHD/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=500890667741&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=2143506665368710700&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045795&hvtargid=pla-1276197924917&psc=1&mcid=351b6f41c156336ca8927618564ff01d by the way they may or may not fit, just random quick search to show you
  17. Nice result that from an unfortunate circumstance 😞
  18. Have you tried looking inside with a torch? Might be something has fallen inside
  19. Cover didn’t come off, but I must have pushed it back somehow when I had the fan plugged in so the cover was open as such
  20. Excellent thanks, this is going to be hard to fix I bet!
  21. I think I get what you mean, I’ve not had a play because I didn’t want to somehow make things worse and hoping I can see someone else’s then hopefully it’ll make sense
  22. Here’s a picture of mine, forgot to add it earlier see the metal spring at the bottom, that needs to clip into something but not sure what
  23. Yeah that’s correct the piston doesn’t touch it or at least not straight away, it’s meant to stop squeals etc and improve wear rate, allegedly
  24. Hello i’ve some how buggered up my 12v cover in the boot and no longer swings back can someone take a picture of theirs and upload it please? The bit I’m interested in is where the metal spring bit is meant to be thanks
