  1. Might be worth a complete reset, ie disconnect battery for 30 minutes
  2. If you follow that, once the header tank is off shine a light and look to see if there’s a silicone bag. Sometimes they are inside, some times in the walls. I must admit the picture you posted looks like the coolant is incredibly dirty, but might just be the picture. The silicone bag splitting is incredibly rare to be honest, but when it does go it can clog the matrix. I guess the reason why the car was auctioned in the first place is because of issues. also what colour is the coolant? If it’s bright pink that’s good, if it’s brown that could indicate the header tank was replaced with a non mit silikat version and coolant never flushed out, because mixing g13 with g12evo makes the coolant brown
  3. 10oC is a big difference. Have you tried a recalibration using vcds? I know you done the trick holding buttons down but wondering if it’s best to do it via vcds then recheck. I’d still get the header tank off as well Also is this a new to you car or has the problem gradually got worse?
  4. A clean MOT is much more attractive to a buyer or at least me. If there’s a simple advisory that’s been there for years it shouts neglected to me. That reminds me, must sort suspension out on my wife’s Fiat 500, been an advisory for years and years 🤫
  5. Your header tank doesn’t say mit silikat on the header tank which normally means you’re good. Might be better to disconnect the header tank and look with a torch if it’s got the bag, then your suspicions could be true. Saves doing matrix if it’s not actually required
  6. Not legal here in UK Edit, fit Osram NBL LED if it’s legal in your country!
  7. Problem with the cartridges I thought is that inside the header tank you have the two metal probes, they then rub on the cartridge and leak the pellets out. Can’t win if that’s true but I’m sure I read it somewhere where it happened to them
  8. I suppose you’ve already checked the obvious being a fuse?
  9. Do you use Windows? If so it should be easy enough with a formatted card to NTFS (official guide says fat32 if I remember correctly, but NTFS works for me)
  10. Are you running g12evo now or still kept with g13?
  11. As youve never done it before it can take a while like up to 45 minutes I’ve seen before. So it’s best to do it when you know you’re going for a long drive, note it doesn’t have to complete as it’ll pickup where it last finished if you turn your car off
  12. Is the anti roll bar bushings need greasing? Fairly common it seems
  13. Go to Erwin and you can download all the workshop manuals for a small fee. If you know your way around the internet you can download for free with some searching, this site might have a copy you can download actually
  14. The kodiaq has a massive design flaw still, at least on the 7 seater version. The edge between 2nd row and 3rd row has a MASSIVE gap, so when you have a dog the gap is big enough for them to put their head in and snap their neck, stupid stupid design. Initially I thought it was the 2nd row seat wasn’t all the way back but it was
  15. Jeez that’s like someone has keyed your car but on the inside. If that was my car I’d try something like maguires ultimate compound but do it lightly and see if it helps and preferably in a corner as a test
  16. Download the brochure from the Skoda website, there’s a section of the models and says what is standard
  17. I’ve been updating for years, but not the latest yet. Never had a problem
  18. Seems local dealerships have changed to a charge what they want, that’s annoying. One thing I loved about VAG cars, the price was consistent and the price you see in like ETKA is the price you pay
  19. When you do your pollen filter do it the correct way by placing at least cardboard under the pollen filter, keep cardboard there then remove pollen filter. Filters are not changed but a chargeable extra so it’ll still be the originals
  20. Thankfully no, I did play the original videos and sounded like something other than gearbox issues and could be many other things
  21. If you get it solved, don’t be like him and post the fix/solution 😁
  22. I’ve had issues in the past where I’d set it then few days later it moaned again despite no leak. If I remember correctly I had to have the engine running then set, turned it off and set it again and seemed to sort it. If you’re setting it with the engine off, try what I did. It could have even been the other way round. I just put it down to a software glitch
  23. It’s gold really, just looks like plastic. At least they look a million dollars compared to my old ones 😂
  24. I’ve changed my manually by hand That post should help you, I turned mine one full turn anti-clockwise (height), probably could go more but it’s best to use vcds for more
