  1. I don’t believe this app has ever worked for anyone, I believe you also need a subscription for some of these things
  2. look for the section which lists the versions of the Škoda superb brochures and it’ll start with the lowest and say what’s standard, then keep scrolling down until you get to l&k
  3. Not too sure but I’d recommend getting one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/NEILSEN-TOOLS-Mechanics-Stethoscope-Traditional/dp/B005S0E23S/ref=asc_df_B005S0E23S/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=310705025920&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=15132353277939880943&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045795&hvtargid=pla-465466276547&psc=1&mcid=3f5b5543a001319da17a3435a7505107 buy one in your own country though, then remove the engine cover and panel under the engine and get someone to gentle rev in whilst you’re prodding around with that and see if you can pinpoint the area Have a look for something like “Škoda fuel line rattle” and “vw fuel line rattle” although it’s mostly at the rear I believe the sound travels down to the front of the car
  4. Have a look at the vega wheels on the accessory brochure, usually much cheaper if you rang your local Škoda dealership and asked them for the price
  5. Watch this, by far the best video I’ve seen and is explaining things nice and clearly even though it is for an Audi it’s essentially same process
  6. Usual I’m sure, put the maxidot to something else and forget about it. I’m guessing sure you’ve seen no symptoms of anything whatsoever?
  7. I have a routine in my car, start it then say “turn that fu&@“?! off” and press the stop/start button. Then if I’m in properly standstill traffic I say something expletive and turn it back on
  8. I’m sure I heard they’ve been scrimping on things and probably an optional extra these days. They’re not expensive if you want them, but as they’ve not expensive why don’t they just include them
  9. I believe 68ah is standard, just noticed where you live and quite surprised it’s the same
  10. It’s not that silly microphone boost for rear passengers is it? I think normally you can hear an echo but worth disabling it, but don’t know what it’s called as mine doesn’t have it
  11. I can tell you something that’s cheaper, slow down 😂 Brembo discs are good but I’ve not long put ATE ceramic pads on my wives fiat 500, wow what a difference, I was hesitant at first after reading brake feel isn’t the same and you don’t get so much initial bite but had the complete opposite. I’ll be using them on my superb when the fronts are due along with brembo discs as I like the painted hubs, I’ve got them on my rears but with Škoda pads as I got them to fit it.
  12. I forgot about webasto etc, deffo need it there! I think you’re right about me being surprised, think I’m too use to my own battery
  13. Oh I always thought it was lower, I’ve seen some unbutchered ones and sit lower then my SEL with 19”s
  14. That’s what I’ll be replacing mine with and is pretty much the biggest and most powerful, but I still can’t see that starting a car at almost -30. I wonder if cars sold elsewhere have a bigger battery tray to fit bigger batteries
  15. No links but sportline is more sporty then SEL It’s lower, probably snazzier wheels, no leather seats as it’s alcantara, not much else is different between the specs One thing I will say is be cautious of dealerships offering “a deal not to be missed” it’ll benefit them more than you! Unless you’ve been actively looking for a replacement do more homework, like is the tax higher as I’m sure it changed in the last few years, is insurance higher because it’s now a “sport” model
  16. Does the Superb have a more powerful battery in cold climates like Finland? I’ve been watching this https://www.youtube.com/live/LwihxyJ4V20?si=1ja_gdQev90V9ydm recently and saw a few cheeky Skodas parked in the Audi only bays all day and temperatures are silly cold, yesterday at 4pm ish it was almost -30 They got in their car and off they went, my car struggles when it’s nearly minus numbers (it is old and original from 2016) but just wondering if they have more powerful batteries and would be a good choice even though temps never get that low here in England at least
  17. I’m tired but surely you’d find the source of the contamination first? Do you actually have any issues? This just reads as paying their Christmas bonus 😁
  18. They’re all LED so expected and normal behaviour I would have thought? Just like the DRLs
  19. Yes, but be careful when dropping it off at a garage for MOT/service as they never remember to turn it back on 🤦 been a few times I’ve left and almost crashed coming out
  20. Hello, Sorry just to confirm the latest link is https://infotainment-cdn.skoda-auto.com/base/maps/HIGH12_P350_EU_202345.zip ? At the top theres 3 red exclamation marks and unsure the reason on this, the skoda portal still has the commencing week 22 which is ages ago. Thanks
  21. Like others had said if on your console the button with A is not lit then auto hold is not enabled, hold it down for a few seconds and it’ll turn orange, which means enabled When that’s on rock up at a lights, use your brake pedal then let go and shouldn’t be moving. You are then free to do what I imagine other people do and pick your nose, scratch your ass, check yourself in the mirror and completely ignore the fact the lights are green 😂
  22. Post the original reg up, that’ll be at another dealership in no time I suspect, bit of a oh crap someone’s realised from the dealership. One for people to avoid
  23. I don’t believe it’s too far away. A lot of other European countries you can use the road legal Osram and Philips LED. If you had a Superb in say Germany or France (many other countries but closest so just listed them) with reflector (maybe projector lenses too) headlights it’s legal to use. Many other cars on the approved list too and seems to be growing all the time I look, so legal there no reason why not legal here but DVSA is slow, they’ve recently allowed motorbikes to retrofit LED so it is coming 😁
  24. I used my car last night and seemed a lot brighter, I used them later on and remembered my council is stingy and dim the street lights at 11pm. I’d say it’s worth it and even though when I took the pictures I wasn’t massively impressed they are still way better than originals
