  1. https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-part/6y0809931-retaining-spring-19030.html Part number is 6Y0809931.
  2. It's been... interesting. I'm currently pushing the car beyond what it's been used to as I bought it with 52k-ish miles and it's now edging towards 62k. It's been my daily all through winter too which hasn't helped. In the past two and a half weeks it's also covered over 900 miles. I'm beginning to doubt my relay theory as I've noticed the revs aren't dropping quite right anymore, plus TMS told me to go to Ingram Skoda for the relay. It's not the pedal as I can pull it back and there's no change. Thinking a split hose (will check tomorrow) or something to do with the throttle body. Oh yes. I've always preferred the older style lights so I swapped a pair on. Had to buy them separately though since I couldn't get a pair without spending more than I did separately.
  3. Front alloy was getting a bit scabby on the side of the now-missing heatshield, plus it's pretty wobbly, thinking it's buckled. But £50 later... plus this let's me have an alloy spare.
  4. I don't want to try it on my neighbours one because they're pretty scary.
  5. You do. It's one whole unit, as seen below with an image from the world wide web outside of here. Mine came from a car that was being broken for spares. I can't remember if the part number is different for the BLT, so others may be able to advise. Hope this helps.
  6. Throttle pedal position sensor. That's the same issue mine had. Hope this helps.
  7. Can't offer much more myself than what Pete said.
  8. And from Google translate for those who may have some trouble... I finally put the rear camera on my new Fabia, it's very easy and I made a video. Sorry but the video is only in Spanish, but if you have any questions I try to help. Thank you. ____________________________ Hope this helps.
  9. Yep! Reckon it's been on there since new. It was a bit badger's arse when I changed the discs but that was still a shock. 😂
  10. Oh true! Might whip the other one off as well to save this aggro another time over. I knew they were in a bad way when I replaced the discs and pads last year but I wasn't expecting it to fall off. I think it's damaged my alloy (on the inside, mind you) but it's the scabby one anyway which is getting whipped off soon since I've ordered a replacement online.
  11. It is indeed. I heard a crunch and then a hell of a clatter as it bounced it's way off the alloy at 60mph. That photo and video was taken when I'd stopped. I limped it round to the garage and it came free very easily when pulled slightly.
  12. Well that's a new one on me... 20220425_094617.mp4
  13. Just wondering if anyone has seen a new Fabia Mk4? I've seen two on '22' plates, first was silver/grey with a black roof and the second was red. Being obviously biased, I preferred the red one.
  14. Ouch! My Dad was down in Blackpool with his mates and they nabbed the aftermarket Clarion stereo without doing too much damage to the car. We actually found the paperwork for the Clarion the other day, funnily enough.
  15. My cousin has one in this colour. Her husband, who is a salesman for Renault also has one temporarily, in a lovely shade of red. If it wasn't as SUV-ified then I'd have sworn it was a new Laguna.
  16. You didn't take my Dad's CD changer, did you?
  17. I drive as economically as possible within reason (unless it's on a Saturday since that's the day I blow the cobwebs oot) since I'm a student and petrol is so ****ing expensive these days. I'm only seeing about 36-38mpg mind you, however, I'm usually driving with the car being three (and a dog) or four folk up, then with shopping/various paraphernalia in the boot of the car. But yes, I do try to do my bit, even if only for saving dosh.
  18. Yes I understand and I wasn't criticising that. I was merely pondering how the discussion ties in with dropping a couple of MPHs off the speedo.
  19. <two pence> Okay so hawd the bus here... How can we go from driving slower for the overall benefit of the Ukrainians, allegedly, to discussing @lol-lol's moral compass/decision making? I feel like there's a time and place for the latter and I don't think this is it. </two pence>
  20. I haven't no, Lee. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll have to replace the entire shroud thing - if possible - as mine is pretty chewed up looking. Not happy about that. Contacted a breakers on eBay that had a 9892 (my paint code) bumper in stock but they didn't have the cap and shroud thing.
  21. Speedbumps... not to mention the fact they're annoying.
  22. Vauxhall Belmont. When was the last time you saw one of these?
  23. Best of luck with it all. My thoughts are with you.
