  1. Big thanks once again to @DieselMonte for sending this over along with the headrest guides. I'm now able to move the seat up and down to my wee heart's content.
  2. Real leather is always a nice touch in a car IMO. I went with real Italian leather for my gearstick gaiter. Before: After:
  3. It was tempting. I'm quite keen on the 4-spoke so I might get one from a facelift Elegance since they had a leather covering.
  4. Hello and welcome to Briskoda! There's probably a few people here in the same position as you, being the paternal mechanic.
  5. Taken with my Samsung Galaxy S20, a remarkably better phone than my S7...
  6. Hi and welcome to Briskoda! Odd to see or hear of an LHD Fabia in the UK, but they do pop up.
  7. https://www.briskoda.net/forums/classifieds/category/2-free-stuff/ It would be better being posted here IMO.
  8. Congratulations on the birth of the wee boy. I wish you all the best.
  9. I think we've still got 'leccy here. The video recorder is still flashing 00:00 from the last time At least you're less likely to cut through any cables with this petrol one...
  10. Thanks Pete. I reckon it'd be fun for sure
  11. Aye good shout. Don't let @TMB or myself near it either. We're a hazard to everyone's health within a 100 yard radius
  12. I had a 2-stroke one many years with the driven wheels which made it great considering my garden is on a slope but we went for a 'leccy one because it was cheaper My Granda has done it was a hedge trimmer and a rotavator
  13. I've cut through the same cable twice, which is two times too many. It trips the electricity supply inside instead of blowing me up, which is nice... Very true!
  14. I was going to send that but I've obviously forgot... , but aye, I'd rather not have the thing blowing up in my face. I know PastyBoy used to do stick-on badges but he's no longer active on here sadly.
  15. It's the only cable I've ever cut through to be fair. I'm rather sensible otherwise, I'll have you know, or so I like to tell myself... Anyway, we're maybe getting a little off topic here...
  16. Might cost you a wee bit in petrol, but that's the least of your worries.
  17. Yes and yes. I find that the middle one doesn't actually interfere with my view behind due to the way it sits. I've had the seats folded flat for doing trips to the tip but I found it was very odd without having the seats there when driving along. I carry passengers quite often and I like to keep their safety in mind.
  18. Thanks Lee! The cloth fabric is ever so slightly lighter, but I think it is just dirty actually. I'll clean it and report back.
  19. Good to know. There's a few Mk1s kicking about with them. Really makes it feel a bit less dated for a car that's 21 years old with a design that's potentially older.
  20. Same for us. I've cut through the cable and lived too many times...
  21. Wouldn't it just be easier doing the "Italian tune-up" on the car to clear carbon deposits anyway?
  22. Glad to hear it. Start putting your pennies away right now though.
  23. This is my plan for my front garden. My Mum bought the house in 2009 and it's a former show detached home so the garden is massive with a 77m fence going around the front in an almost semi-circular fashion... . The lawnmower-ing kills me every time.
