  1. No software update required. D to F is fine A,B,C,D,F are all early to late revisions. Just not E for some reason
  2. Do they not offer some kind of extension? have you got a photo of the dash cam in question and it’s wires?
  3. It would be for you to argue with them but in all honesty the chances of it getting anywhere are slim. They would argue its been repainted, a stone chip, poor cleaning or any other number of things. And in all fairness it could be any of these things. If you wanted to save on costs as its quite a isolated panel you could get it re lacquered up to and under the spoiler lip but no further.
  4. Photos? Spec? Detailed service history? location? You can’t expect someone to hand over £20,000 based on a 1 sentence description!
  5. Drain the oil, is it full of coolant?
  6. Also hold the boot button on the fob, it should pop the boot Check it all works as should. Then we can confirm its the boot handle switch.
  7. You haven't powered your module correctly. This module needs a permanent fused 12v supply, you have given it an ignition feed im guessing? You also havent correctly uploaded a dataset for your vehicle using either ODIS or VCP.
  8. Its very odd - the manual for this engine states: The summary of components refers exclusively to engines without balancing shafts. I cant see anything in the manual about crankshaft replacement - but then again I remember my first VW from 1999 specified never to remove the crankshaft as it would allow the engine block to twist - so theyve said that as long as i can remember. But with balance shafts they have to be timed correctly.
  9. Yeah this is what i was trying to (albeit it very poorly) explain! @ords hopefully this explains what im getting at a bit better for you
  10. Im a bit confused by your wording i think thats where we are getting confused. You mean to open the boot you press the fob boot button, then press the boot handle/button to open the boot? What happens if you just press the fob button and pull the boot open without the boot handle button? What happens if you just use the boot handle button when the car is locked or unlocked? Unless you have the electric tailgate optional extra the tailgate wont open and raise itself, it will just release the latch.
  11. The key fob should 'pop' the boot too yes, both should do the same thing. What do you mean the key fob unlocks the boot but not open it?
  12. Please provide the faults you are referring to as this is needed to help fix the problem? If you mean fault codes? If so, give the complete fault read out and modules that store them. Where have you mounted the tpms receiver?
  13. Does the boot open from the key fob all the time and it’s just the actual boot handle that’s playing up? if it does, the boot handle/switch is faulty, I’m selling them if you’re interested, pm me.
  14. 1 pump does the front and rear by spinning in opposite directions. If its coming from both directions the pump is faulty. The pump cant spin both ways at once so its one of the small valves in the pump that is faulty.
  15. The chances of water ingress are low, possibly a bent/broken bracket is more likely. But if it is water damaged i have one i could sell you if you were interested.
  16. LIN is purple yellow is power black is ground
  17. Is this an estate or hatchback as the replacement process is a bit different. hatchback is a lot easier as it just unscrews whereas estate has some funny clips and a gasket that needs replacing. my guess as you mention the washer is that it is an estate. regerding a reverse camera - accessing the inside of the tailgate is only like 10% of fitting the camera so it’s up to you if you wanted to go ahead with something like that at the same time edit: part number for the estate centre brake light 5E9945097C
  18. I mean, it wouldn’t match to start with. But it would need to have a tyre on it that is the same rolling radius as your current tyres. and also that wouldn’t make it a full size spare as it would be a thinner tyre.
  19. The issue is the coding pin. For some reason your module isn’t picking up the additional ground pin that determines what side of the car the module is on. You need to check the seat wiring to see if there is a damaged pin on the connector with all the small wires going into it. After that we can look at running basic settings and renenabling the memory. unless we are missing something and you’ve messed with any of the coding to cause this?
  20. Fully loaded neutral position. Place the jack under the rear arm until the wheel lifts off the ground. This is in its loaded neutral.
  21. The brackets are sold individually if they’ve came loose. The replacements are double sided taped inside the bumper but the tape isn’t amazing, needs an adhesive primer to do a proper job at it! or just use a good plastic weld epoxy
  22. That is the default display. do you mean the theme/skin? you have to mess with the variants in adaptations
  23. There are so many threads already on virtual cockpits including a guide in the guides section on how to do it
  24. Cloned version of vcds 😞 😞
  25. Have you got a photo of these connections on your washer jets?
