I have a cover under all of the scuttle (plastic trim the wipers come through), don't know the part number

Yes there is a lower cover to keep water off your engine control unit etc

I have an aftermarket obd hud fitted but there is no oil pressure displayed on it (it has an oil pressure display but just reads 0) any suggestions ? I assume there will be no oil pressure displayed via VCDS but will check later this week

I believe there are 2 fuses, 11 for adjustment. 18 for heated function

Fuse 18 is the fuse for the heated function on the door mirrors Check it (may be missing/blown) Wiring harnesses passing through door grommets are a weakness S/w could be defective

You'll have air in the heater core it needs bleeding correctly (I don't know how this is accomplished)

My random rattle turned out to be loose rivets in the charger drive pulley clutch plate

👍 I'll be controlling the bypass valve either determined by RPM or a selector s/w

Will bypassing the exhaust rear back box give much of an exhaust note change ? toying with removing the resonator after that ?? as ever any assistance welcomed

Check for moths / spiders etc in the vehicle, assuming its not scum trying to make you leave it off

I can confirm the mud flaps (all round) are simply remove screws, fit flaps tighten screws

I sourced mine (VRS fabia) from Skodaparts.com 5E0 713 146 E The gaiter is available from your local vag dealer not a bad price, 5J2 713 123 N DYT It took me about 30 minutes in total to replace

Hmm the Skoda update portal asks for my vin. obviously there's no update for my 2014 Fabia as it didn't have nav. I've retrofitted and Amundsen+ unit so anyone willing so share a suitable vin. (Private message) that will suit my RNS315 TMBFP65J1F3038497

RNS315 Amundsen+ is an Amundsen head unit that has sat nav, DAB and inbuilt bluetooth

Hmm, Venturing into the map update. (RNS315 Amundsen+ retrofitted into my 2014 Fabia) 1, how do I determine my current Map version to see if I even need to consider an upgrade ? 2, is the Amundsen MIB2 map I see compatible with my nav unit ? Again, any assistance welcomed

2014 1.4TSI fabia CTHE Anyone know if the supercharger uses a unique oil ? I see it listed on Skodaparts.com (G07 000 0A1) but can't see any means to check, change or top up ?

I took off my rear bumper today to remove, clean and seal the boot vent flaps as I had water in the wheel well after torrential rain This thread helped identify the issue thanks
