  1. It’s stopped . . . it’s 09:34
  2. I saw her husband on stage, real comic, cut me up every time I saw him
  3. We had a flat when out shopping about 6 months ago and I assumed that pressing that button would connect me to the AA. Seems not, I ended up (eventually) speaking to a German speaker who said he couldn’t help. Rang instead the number I’d installed on my mobile. Never did get to the bottom of who the German speaker was.
  4. We’ve a 2020 and I noticed the blades were noisy, changed them for Bosch Aerotwin, no problems since
  5. We have a 2020 Karoq and if memory serves me right I’ve previously been able to type a destination street name directly into the location line. Obviously unless it’s a common name the address would generally flag up, I okay it and map sets the route. Now I’m getting a box appear asking for city, then street. Perhaps I’m just having another grey moment and imagining this, but don’t recall seeing this before. There was a message appeared a few days ago saying there was an update available but it didn’t say what it was for, I simply said yes go ahead upload it.
  6. Welcome; perhaps update your profile with your location and model?
  7. Not sure I like the swirly paint 😄
  8. I believe it was possible to apply for free voter ID? Perhaps they should look at that before the GE comes around
  9. Khan voted back in London 😳 but I suppose that’s democracy for you. He’ll be bigging himself up forever, going on incessantly about how Londoners support him and his (draconian) policies. What he won’t mention is that there was only 40% turnout of which he attracted 43.8% which by reckoning means there’s only 17.52% of the electorate actually wanted him in place. So that’s 82.48% that’ll be hit with whatever he plans next. Having expanded ULEZ there was talk of him introducing so sort of pay per mile scheme next which he strongly denied but apparently has thrown absolute millions at already. Must be spending the ULEZ monies as there’s no evidence of it being used anywhere else. Angry? Me?
  10. Checked both the DVLA and Skoda links and my2020 Karoq not showing on either. Thanks for the heads up any way. Have mentioned it to my son and a friend who have Skodas
  11. I’ve been using one for years although can’t remember the make - did have lettering on it but that’s long worn off. Quick check on Amazon and there’s a similar called ‘Milenco HS Silver Steering Wheel Lock’. (Sorry, can’t post the link but no doubt you can google it) It’s easy enough to fit and provides a very visible deterrent. Easily stored in rear footwell when not in use. Believe the recommended ones are those that completely cover the wheel although they’re pricey.
  12. Bad news. Are you trying to finance directly with your lender or using a financial advisor who can sometimes have more sway?
  13. Surprised the tinting technicians don’t have a meter? Perhaps try another firm?

    TPMS

Was going to say much the same as Ootohere. We’ve a Karoq and seem to recall that after we had the AA deal with a flat I reset the TPMS but it flagged up again. Think I went in and reset it again and it cleared so perhaps you need to press set or hold the key longer? Sorry if it sounds a bit vague but short of deflating a tyre I’m not sure how I could reproduce the process
  15. Would the technician that’s going to do the work not be able to tell you? Or you planning to do the job yourself
  16. Prior to owning a Freelander and now my Karoq I used a small independent round the corner from me DG Repairers, Sutcliffe Road SE18 2NF 0208 3164730. They serviced my Subaru Impreza and Forester but I’ve not been there for a few years as last cars have been under warranty. Might be worth a call? I’m in the same area as you so would be interested to hear if you find someone local
  17. Sure it wasn’t on a Rolls ROYce?
  18. By way of an update I’ve been back on to Customer Services (think they need to rethink that name, not sure who they’re serving) and eventually received an email advising that the dealers won’t clean the seats, they’re not covered by any warranty however . . . . . . .they can sell me seat covers 😂 The cover for the rear of the seat is £177 plus vat, the base section £147 plus vat. Well that’s a real bargain, over £380 to deal with an issue that’s not of my doing. She asked if I’m interested 🤔
  19. We have a 2020 Karoq Sportline with the highback seats and bolster sides. I have found that on occasions they can become a little uncomfortable and find I’m wiggling about re-positioning myself. My main gripe is with the ‘staining’ of the fabric, it’s as though there’s been liquid spilt and allowed to dry although I never drink when driving (not even water 😏) If I give the seats a decent brush or use a fabric shampoo the marks will disappear but then eventually reappear a few days later, even if the cars not been used 🤔 There has been a separate thread on here about this but there’s never been a rational reason for the markings. I contacted Customer Care who said to contact the dealer under warranty but they say it’ll not be covered, refer back to CC. Been back on to CC but it’s a bit like pulling teeth getting a response.
  20. Not covered under the warranty? You’ve only had the car 3 months so should have been sorted before you bought it surely?
  21. Loving the title of the post . Bumber in the urban dictionary is a lover of boobs so am wondering what a woman with rear boobs would look like 😂
  22. Would be interested to hear your thoughts on your Volvo
  23. Happily watch motoGP although must confess I’m not a follower. Still intrigues me how they throw the bikes over at those ridiculous angles and yet they don’t fall over 🤔
  24. Not sure the time of day will make any difference 😂😂 I’ll get me coat . . . . .
