Hasn't just swapped the bulbs over, they have also reorganised everything in the garage, so it's possible the car is not in exactly the same place?

Is it becos it’s a Sportline, officer?
Maybe the answer is only if you are asked if you have been on one. Uswitch https://www.uswitch.com/car-insurance/speed-awareness-course/ So it must all depend upon the wording in the insurance application form and if the speed awareness course would change the answer. E.g Have you any points for speeding.......no Have you been convicted for speeding ..No Have you attended speed awareness course? If the question wasn't asked you have no change to report.

Decent deal?
Tesla sold 1,845,985 cars in 2023 if they do that this year they can sell an ice allowance of 406,000 The bigger auto groups could also takeover some of the many Chinese manufacturers? They will find a way to meet the demands of the buyers Or the buyers of ice vehicles not wanting Bevs will just hang on to the cars longer. There is also the chance that Bevs will actually start ticking all the boxes, CATL's 1,000 km battery could be it?

Published: 27 March 2019 Updated: 20 November 2023 https://www.parkers.co.uk/car-advice/speed-limiters-what-they-mean-for-you/ The system is not designed to immediately slow the car down. A series of warnings should happen first.

Learner drivers - will newly proposed UK rules become law?
I think she has been watching Highway cops on saturday mornings, covering New Zealands roads? I don't see how creating more offences that can be comittted improves things. We already have a system in which young drivers can lose their licences with less points for two years. We need more traffic enforcement in general rather than just targeting youth

the truth about electric cars
Source of the 2.1 per woman https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/7834459/ Source of The prospect of UK population declining without immigration https://migrationobservatory.ox.ac.uk/resources/briefings/the-impact-of-migration-on-uk-population-growth/ My full post was in response to a discussion that Global population will start to fall. The consensus is that it will as other Countries develop and more Women globally see less need for having many Children. I get your point about multiple generations existing at the same time but as each generation has less children the numbers of Grandparents with many Grandchildren will reduce.

the truth about electric cars

So as the globe becomes more advanced the birth rate in more Countries will drop It is true that Global population has been predicted to start falling in the next decade by more than one set of genius' Having said that the Office for National Statistics has projected that the UK population would grow to 72.4m by mid-2045.

Brake discs/pads sizing.
If dIY it's probably better to source parts from a local motor factors, then when you see they are the wrong size you can take them back quicker. On the europarts website 1zE 1ZS are 276mm and 1ZG are 256mm discs If you input the details Kamiq 1ltr 2020 it shows both and tells you to check before ordering The fitment detail tabs just show the dimensions and do not offer clues to model or spec of the car

the truth about electric cars
Confused now. I would never put any vehicle in neutral. Just take my foot off the accelerator. Let the car keep control of itself. In my diesel the MPG instant reading goes up to 99.9mpg (it can't report any higher) https://evecocharge.com/electric-vehicle-range-tips-how-an-ev-works/

The rule is "Don't do it excessively" It's like riding the clutch in a manual, sometimes you have to. The situation you are describing you have to The DSG is a manual gearbox with two clutches controlled by a computer. https://www.allthingsmotoringinternational.com/articles/should-you-fear-the-dual-clutch-gearbox

Battery keeps going flat
It is possible you are a victim of the Battery management system in newer cars, so changing it wouldn't help. There is a thread on here somewhere about disabling it and the car will perform as your old one did. I am sure someone will jump in and explain.

Car Park Fires, Transporters / Ships, any fires, any EV,s involved or not thread, were they the cause just there and so made fighting the fire harder.
Ice won't have to meet the targets being set for electric energy consumption, electric range, battery durability though. Brake dust will depend upon the driver but the rules will just modify the manufacturing process and make them dearer probably the same with tyres. I expect there to be resurgence in ICE sales as the deadline nears. The government have already done things to make people hang on to their cars longer and Euro 7 will probably add to that too Massive discounts like the one Nissan has just done on the leaf and Vauxhall did last year with the Corsa are also going to put people off buying a new EV. It will also affect the PCP deals offered and put the monthly payments up on the new ones for those who want to rent the vehicles. GFVs are going to suffer. The next ten years will be very entertaining
