  1. I would double check the 12v plug you have for that EY05 dashcam, do you plug your camera lead into it in a usb socket? This one appears to say "Output 5v" on the plug in the picture https://www.amazon.co.uk/IIWEY-Control-Parking-Monitor-Super-Capacitor-Black/dp/B0CBBK9LR1
  2. The link should open to a 2020 Kamiq handbook Selected from here https://www.skoda.co.uk/apps/manuals/models
  3. Is this not in the settings menu https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/6e4634871b1d67dba2b9d78fff3785e3_4_en_GB?ct=e4d04b648ae759b8ac144525432a0254_2_en_GB#titled731665428e21413 Or are they aftermarket LED headlights.
  4. If only there was a user manual? https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/38c7658dcf830ce1247345d723669c2a_1_en_GB
  5. Heated rear window to keep your hands warm pushing it?
  6. Driving mode defaults back to normal when the car is restarted?
  7. Is it not possible to temporarily disconnect the service so you can try it without before deciding? Or is that for unsubscribing?
  8. Did you register for it when you got the car? https://www.skoda-auto.com/connectivity/connect#anchor-M70-5bf192ec
  9. I think you may need to investigate what is draining the battery, maybe overnight.. Anything plugged into the 12v sockets, one may be permanently live (boot?) Is the light in boot on when boot closed etc. Is the stop/start working? Do you travel far?
  10. As per section 3.2 of VAT Notice 700/64, provided the dealership intends to sell the car within 12 months, they can recover the VAT charged. As VAT will have been recovered on the demonstrator car at purchase, the dealer will then be required to charge VAT on the full selling price
  11. I suspect there may be a good number of private buyers for that auction house
  12. Skoda don't appear to be alone in this sales model for factory orders, Volkswagen Group and others https://www.autoexpress.co.uk/buying-car/357915/agency-model-its-coming-uk-car-dealers-what-does-it-mean-buyers
  13. Probably and most likely To get the best deal on a factory order you would have to contact different dealers and try haggling one against the other.
  14. https://quotes.carwow.co.uk/car_configuration/choose-trim?doors=Front+%26+Rear&make=skoda&model=enyaq-2020&payment_preferences[]=cash&payment_preferences[]=finance&preferred_car_type=only_new_cars
  15. Charging at less than 12 mile per hour? Not 40+ miles a minute like a fuel pump?
  16. I don't see why in a car that has an sos button can't use the sim card in the car to get the time from the mobile phone network.
  17. A brand new car at £27 450 includes around £4,575 in VAT so i wouldn't pay more than £22,875 for it when it was 16 month old, would even expect to pay less because that figure allows for no depreciation at all, there is no longer any VAT due on it.
  18. No two used cars are the same. Check the mileage and ages. Yours will probably be sold at around just under £21,000 giving a 15% margin for a used car at a dealership
  19. How much did you pay for it
  20. I too don't understand why the door needs to be open, no mention of that as a condition in the handbook. It appears to be a simple cable release https://digital-manual.skoda-auto.com/w/en_GB/show/54909c3a007752bf538427d946427388_2_en_GB?query=bonnet
  21. Apologies for my initial confusion, i thought you were asking if the blue bit of the plate with flags was compulsory. There is no requirement to have anything other than the Registration number * on the plate. (* For pedants, apart from Supplier identifier and from sept 21 BS AU 145e)
