  1. That appeared to be the same as another I’d looked at but at a lesser price. I love a bargain! To cap it all it works via an app that I currently use (in addition to the suggested app) so that’s a winner too. As it needs an appreciably bigger back box (35mm recommended but used 45mm instead) I’ve had a bit of SDS chopping out to do. Patching up and remedial work nearly done. Wish it had been thought about when the area was decorated less than 3 months ago though! πŸ–ŒοΈ
  2. Please only use English. πŸ‘ is the 1.6 CR TDI engine as standard equipped with a dual weight pulley?
  3. Congratulations on passing your exam @muppix. There are a few hams on here that may be able to help. My days of /M are in the distant past though. πŸ“»
  4. That's normally a (very) long press on the power button IIRC but if that's wrong then I'm sure someone will step in to assist.
  5. The DPF issue shouldn’t really be related to a good remap - it’s more a way of driving issue. πŸ‘
  6. AA has a newer version so maybe upgrade that as well as the following. Do a soft reset of the headunit and phone plus invest in a quality lead. The latter being the source of many a problem. πŸ‘
  7. Shy - remember him! He's probably still using his initial stockpile.
  8. A software bug on a brand new car - surely not. 🧐
  9. I've seen these on various stretches of motorway and wondered what they were? This is one near Chapeltown, Sheffield and even though it's above a speed camera sign, there are also others on stand-alone posts. My thoughts are that it's related to the smart motorway system but has anyone got a more informed suggestion?
  10. Are you sure that it doesn't turn off after maybe 30 seconds?
  11. There's nothing 'slightly' about that tread! πŸ˜ƒ
  12. The current light (which is always powered up - but PIR activated) is to be replaced with a non PIR, LED light. This means that it isn't able to be selective when it operates - it's always on when the power is on. I want to add a smart switch (as a photocell or light sensing bulb mentioned above isn't feasible) to have it on at set app controlled times. My initial thoughts were that I'd have an issue with the light switch not having a neutral thereby restricting my buying choice. However it seems to be the only light switch in the house that does have one. I haven't had chance to explore the new choices that have been made available as yet though. Has that cleared a bit of the conundrum smoke away? 🧐
  13. The new light hasn't been purchased but I know what I'm after. The Lucca wouldn't have been right anyway due to needing an additional hub - something I wasn't wanting to do. I didn't mention it before but the current light has PIR too but that will be missing in the new one. The separate light sensor and bulb aren't feasible either. However, I have come across a few switches which only seem to need a capacitor across the L &N to make them function as I want. Some people seem to have LED issues but that might be down to the current usage. Higher power seems to be better. A few also use one of my installed apps so that makes things easier.
  14. I agree that it might show the warning for quite some time - but changing the battery stops it being annoying. πŸ˜‰
  15. A photo of each would help Rusty. πŸ‘
  16. A bit of a thread resurrection as I'm after looking at changing an outside dawn/dusk light with another that doesn't have that facility. This means the current light switch needs to be setup to follow the sun going down and coming up - Alexa being the preferred choice. Unfortunately it doesn't have a separate neutral within the switch which could be a problem however I could easily set some sort of sender in a new socket and have a replacement receiver type control switch. So, has anyone managed to do this type of thing and if so can some equipment links be provided. πŸ’‘
  17. On the other hand, I'd have just done it when I washed the car and certainly wouldn't have thought about any (extra to normal) draining of the jetwash! πŸš— Maybe the micro climate is different in Northampton though? πŸ₯Ά
  18. I told you that you were worrying too much! πŸ˜‰
  19. Now moved to correct section.
  20. Regarding the seat, just store the seat memory position on your seat position memory number and when you've opened the car with the new key, press the original stored position before making all the adjustments in your driver profile. Hopefully that's the theory anyway and you can continue to adjust radio settings too.
  21. Surely the relevant page can be printed?
  22. You must be talking about the ones in vaccines? πŸ‘Ό
  23. Just noticed the earlier post by @alexxutzu so moved that to be with this one. Unfortunately for Lee that also means he won't be able to edit the title so I'll have to do it or poor old Alex will get blamed!
  24. I was thinking about putting this into the Chuckle thread before @@Lee alters it. πŸ˜‰
  25. Here's some figures from my drive last week.
